The piece of material was cut at 5 3/4 inches instead of 6 inches. I wrote to the seller and have not heard back

This seems to be the fix for my petcock gasket on my supermoto. I've been through three different gasket sealants and the gas ate right through all of them. I looked into this type of rubber for gasoline use and from what I have read it will hold up for a long time. So far so good no leaks!!!!

The FKM sheet appears to be of good quality with consistent thickness and gloss surface. Price is reasonable for this specialty, very high temperature capable (>200C) /chemical resistant gasket material. One note regarding a prior poor review that this material received, this rubber sheet is NOT made for covering work benches or lining tool boxes, unless your work bench is sitting on top of a tractor-trailer turbo Diesel engine. If looking for work bench liner, try NBR, EPDM, Neoprene, etc.

Do you have a few old leaky gas cans with bad seals? This is the material to make yourself new ones and revitalize those gas containers. 1/16 inch is the perfect thickness and easy to work with. Highly recommend.

Consider this more of a warning than a complaint, I should have read the description more closely. 125x6x6 is .125"x6"x6", I probably read it as 125"x66" because the photo shows a large roll, and I did not realize that covering my workbench in rubber would cost drastically more than covering it in leather or gold leaf. What I do not understand is how 6"x6" is $18.00 worth of rubber. Perhaps I just don't understand how rubber quality is judged or priced. I will say that the quality is very nice and it is exactly what I was looking for, but not at the ~$2000 it would cost to order enough for this single project. As far as the quality, it is 5/5. I'm knocking off only one star for the deceptive photo because I should have read the description more carefully.
