It was important for me to get a coffee (when I drink it) that creating a bunch of junk my liver has to process so this checked the boxes. As far as "at-home" coffee, I would normally have cuban coffee.Anyway, It's ok taste, but I can't afford to regularly buy it.Fore reference:I use 4TBL of beans to be dark enough for me and what they say is standard for the size coffee press I have, get a little more than 4TBL grounds, add to 2 cups of water in a 17 oz coffee press which fills a 16 oz mug with a couple drips to spare and the bag of coffee beans is almost gone in 2 weeks. The bag says that it makes 28 cups, so seems to track. I've drank one of those 16 oz cups for 10 days. Probably should cut down to 8 oz and save the rest for the next day.I tried reusing the grounds once and obviously by doing that the coffee is no longer dark roast and less than appealing, so I don't know if I would advocate to do that. lolI appreciate the clean claim of it all and it's not a bad taste, but I would say if you are on a budget, that it's a good treat to have on hand if you don't drink coffee often to feel better about the quality you are putting in your body, but If you're a daily coffee drinker, like it DARK, want more than 8 oz a day and want something cost effective, this can get expensive.

It is the best of the low acid coffee's I have tried before. No after taste and no heartburn, so I am sold.

I fresh grind the beans every time I make a cup. Hands down the best coffee I’ve ever had and easiest on my stomach. I thought my coffee days were over with “regular” coffee until I found this. 5 stars

I’ve been trying to find healthier coffee beans that aren’t a fortune. I was really pleased with this coffee. For me it gave a full flavor, but mellow. It wasn’t acidic.

Like the low acid feature. Smooth taste. A little more expensive than my usual coffee.

Only coffee in the world I can drink two cups of. As a prednisone caused gerd forever person, this coffee is great. Not a lot of caffeine it seems, and not a super rich flavor, but it is good for me!

I stopped drinking coffee for about 6 months because it was making my stomach upset and gross. Started drinking green tea in the mornings. It worked but dang It just wasn't a coffee!!! I NEEDED my coffee!!!! I found this coffee and oh my gosh was so excited because it actually worked. I can drink my coffee again 😊 Also it has a nice taste. Chocolate taste i believe and is not bitter. We get the whole bean though cuz we found the ground was a little bitter!!! Awesome coffee!

This coffee is gentle on your stomach and does not cause digestion problems like many other regular coffee beans. I highly recommend it. A bit higher priced so I gave it a 4 stars for value for money.

The idea of low-acid coffee was a new concept to me, but a friend suggested I try this coffee since he knows how much I love my coffee.I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I like my coffee with both sugar and half&half, and I often find I'm using more sugar with some coffees versus others. This time, I used the same amount of sugar that I use in my morning coffee, and brewed it with a filter-drip coffee maker that grinds the beans automatically and immediately before brewing. To my surprise, this cup was too sweet, so it's must be the acidity that's causing me to use more sugar. That's a bonus from several perspectives. Diabetes runs in my family, however I'm not currently showing any signs of blood sugar issues, but cutting down on sugar can't be a bad thing. The flavor is somewhat milder than I'm accustomed to, as I like dark roasts, but this was both flavorful and smooth, with a gentle, pure coffee aroma, coupled with hints of caramel and vanilla. The scent of the unground beans we wasn't as bold as I typically expect, but the finished product didn't disappoint. The packaging is very appealing. The matte green and gold labeling and text on a matte white background is warm and inviting, with a certain natural, premium feel, and coencides with the message and objective of VitaCup, being fair-trade, organic and free of pesticides. The minimal use of glossy print, the sample cup of coffee, the words "PERFECT COFFEE", and the "SINGLE ORIGIN DARK ROAST" labels is eye-catching but not overbearing. The lack of flashy colors or cartoon-like graphics gives it a more serious and mature feel. I like the punch-list on one side, covering all the major selling points.I suffer from heartburn at times, and now I'm thinking it may be the acid in my coffee. It will be interesting to see how my body reacts to this low-acidity going forward. I am looking forward to making this coffee a part of my daily routine going forward and hope the experiences only get better.
