Just getting back into playing after a 20 year long kid and real life caused hiatus. I tossed this on my bass, replacing the narrower nylon straps I had always used. WOW! What a difference! It stays adjusted, doesn't seem to cause any issues with the finish, and probably most important, stays on the guitar. If I didn't have a proclivity for always picking up new & different things, inculluding different straps, I could see myself getting a few more of these.

This strap was surprisingly useful for the price. Then ends of the straps have a nice material that is easy to put on and off the guitar, and the strap doesn't make any rubbing noises like other brands (like the Lekato which is so noisy against the guitar that you have to use rubber gaskets to prevent the strap from making noise). I will buy some more of these Vigorport straps.

I put this strap on an electric guitar replacing a cheap nylon strap. This is definitely more comfortable than the thin nylon strap. The padding works very effectively. The strap stays on the guitar and stays at the size I set. The stitching is irregular in places but it holds. One clarification from the ad, there IS a “hidden pick pocket” but the ad shows it at the top of the strap. On the strap I got, it’s at the bottom and it’s BEHIND me when the guitar is slung over my shoulder. There is no way I could get a pick out of that pocket in the middle of a song if I broke a pick. I guess it’s a nice feature to know where the picks are stashed but it won’t be useful during a performance. The pocket holds them securely so you have to work a little to get them out. Overall, this is a secure, comfortable strap. The pick pocket is OK but won’t be useful when performing and the stitching is only fair. Good, not great strap.

This is a very nice, wide, padded guitar strap. It is a step above the usual two-inch standard nylon straps a lot of music stores sell. The padded section of this strap measures three inches wide. After the padded section ends it goes back to being a two-inch nylon strap. All of the buckles are metal, not plastic. The strap ends are double layered and have a soft, suede finish to them. They are 3 ¾ inches long and the holes on the strap ends hold onto your guitar really tight. Right behind the front strap end is a V-shaped piece that measures four inches long and is also heavily padded. The back of the strap near the tail features a small pocket where you can store picks. When you put this strap on a guitar and put the guitar on you really notice the difference. The extra width and padding take a lot of the weight of the guitar off your shoulder. If you own a guitar that is so heavy that its density bends the fabric of space and time, like a Gibson Les Paul, this would be a good strap for you. That’s where this one is going – on my 2000 Gibson Les Paul Classic. One final note: get the “large” size. The medium size will not be long enough for you unless you wear your guitar way up on your chest. This strap is definitely a step up from a standard guitar strap. The width and padding make it a very comfortable strap to wear. It will be especially comfortable on very heavy guitars.

I have a Gibson SG Standard with pretty bad neck dive. I've added about four ounces of weights to the electronics cavity and put some lighter buttons on the tuners, which helped quite a bit. But, it still wasn't perfect. I heard having a wider strap might help, so I ordered this hoping it would make up the difference. The good news is that it mostly did (it's still not prefect -- which is the guitar's and not the strap's fault -- but it is noticeably better). My particular guitar aside, this strap is well made and comfortable. The 3" strap is noticeably better than my previous 2" strap. And the fact that it is padded makes it more comfortable still. I also tried it on my Gibson Les Paul Special which weighs about a pound more than the SG, and this strap helped distribute the weight more evenly (also making it more comfortable on this guitar).I'm happy to recommend this strap. In the end I ended up putting this strap back on my SG as helping with the neck dive was more important than distributing the heavier weight. Given it is more comfortable and helps at least a little with the neck dive, I see no reason to switch back to the 2" strap.

Absolutely love, love love this new guitar strap of mine. Has everything I wanted and then some.High quality materials, great workmanship – I think it’ll last me a long time.So comfortable, I can wear it for hours without any discomfortIt’s adjustable and it’s made to work with even heavy guitarsThe outside of the strap is actually made from diving material and the foam inside is stitched in such a way as to prevent any unnecessary wear. Then to contrast that rugged outside, you have a very soft inside of the strap. Can you say no chafing? Love it.A bonus feature is a hidden pick compartment. I’m always losing mine so this is very helpful.I highly highly recommend this strap. I looked for a long time and I’m glad I chose this one.
