I’m a farmer and I haul equipment between locations on a 24’ tilt back trailer often. Where most of my heavy gaming trailers are gooseneck, this justifies one is a pintle hitch. So, when I got this to try out, I was concerned about the alternate mount, (not a Reese style), since bolt on is more common for the trailer ring, not the actual receiver. It just so happened that I have a new tractor that didn’t have a pintle hookup, so I mated this to a steel plate and fashioned a three-point attachment to use there.I was worried about pulling against the bolts opposed to welds, especially hauling a 12-ton loader, but I gave it a try and this did fine. I also used the ball on a couple of trailers and found it to be smooth and the pintle top doesn’t get in the way, even on extremely tight turns. The build quality is better than expected, the value for the money appears to be very good, its weight was surprisingly heavy for what I thought might be some cheap, Chinese-built thing and functionality was good. The install wasn’t easy, but that’s because I was fabricating for a specific use. If you have something that needs a bolt mount receiver, it’ll be easy. If not, you’ll be fabricating something as well. Get the weirder out!Overall, I’m impressed.

I use this to move farm implement machinery around my farm. Works slick to slap into into the trucks receiver and quickly move equipment here and there. Yes, I use a high lift, best mind your limbs carefully, jack to complete the hookups. This saves time though on the farm where space is limited. This is simple to use and makes hooking up a quick action. The pintle hook is heavy so it feels well built and it hasn't bent nor cracked with heavy tongue machinery like a conditioner or haybine engaged into it.I may have to invest in some lunette rings as I am starting to prefer these over the old standard way of dad's which is the big old floppy bolt with slopped out eyelets on everything. In fact, as a kid tending the fields I remember breaking several hyd hoses due to bolt failure or bolts that popped out the hitch. Fun times getting chewed out on inferior mounting hardware. Got to be a pro at clutch and stopping on a dime when you felt that bolt let loose, but there is only a limited length of hyd hose.

I mean, it's Vevor, don't bet your life on it but otherwise it will probably work fine. I don't have a way to do any real stress test on it so this is really just a first impression. It has a lot of play in a 2" receiver which is a little worrying. Probably a good choice for someone that's only going to use it occasionally and can't afford a higher quality hitch.

After a recent camping trip I was shocked to find that my auto parts store welded steel hitch was significantly bent downwards. My camper is not large and the tongue weight was not excessive (as a reference point my truck is only rated for 5,000 lbs towing). So I decided to grab this. This is an incredibly beefy piece of cast steel rated at 20,000 lbs trailer weight and a shocking 4,000 lbs tongue weight. I'll likely never get close to the rating (a person would have to be towing a backhoe for example). But this is 100 percent peace of mind that I won't have a failure on the highway or in the woods. At the locking feature on top of the ball is the cherry on top. This is an amazing value for the price and installed easily in all the 2" receivers I have. This will be the last hitch I buy.Mine came with a 2-5/16" ball but that is easily swapped out to whatever you need.

Great quality. However missing the pin that secures it to the vehicle harness. This should be included as I had to order a pin that is strong enough to handle the load I will be pulling.

This combination pintle hitch from Vevor seems to be good quality. The hitch mated right up to my 3-position plate with perfect bolt hole alignment. The included mounting hardware was a nice touch also. The hitch is solidly made, and the coating on it appears to be durable enough. The ball can removed and replaced, so the part that sees the most wear can be replaced as necessary, without having to replace the entire pintle hook. This is a great option for people that need to tow a variety of trailers but don't want to be swapping out hitches all the time.
