Well built. Heavy duty metal can with great metal locking clips. Clear plastic cyclone works well. Extremely pleased. Best bang for the buck. Would buy again.

I installed this on top of an open top 55 gallon drum with my 800 CFM Powertec model DC1081 dust collection system sucking on it. I am impressed. I never thought it would drop so much sawdust into the barrel, but the only thing that makes it through to the filter bag is the finest of the saw dust powder. The collection bag on the Powertec system stays empty until the barrel fills up.

Using with HF 660 CFM 4” port single stage dust collector. No visible dust in the bag. Handles lathe chips to sanding dust. Soooo much quieter than shop vac with smaller HF cyclone, and not much more $$

I like that it’s clear and it can be taken apart if something terrible goes in it. It’s effective. I don’t expect to empty that horrible bag on my dust collector for a really long time, if ever.

Easy to fit - the comments about the rubber seal not fitting is true- the holes or three out of four do line up so had to cut the fourth in the correct position. Thus does not affect the overall performance which works a treatComes with plenty of fittings as mine is connected to a 100mm system including three blast gates. However the 50 mm hose included can be connected to the 100mm adapter which allows me to use as a vacuum hose for shavings on the floorNot cheap compared to more basic systems but for me it works well and the visual cyclone allows you to see the chippings spinning into the hopper so I know all is functioning well plus the cyclone appears to offer a better pick up than a simple two pipes systemIt is worth noting that I fitted mine to 6mm ply using a 100mm hole cutter but had to buy longer bolts as the ones supplied did not appear long enougb to fit with washers etcRecommended

I decided to get a more solid looking unit after returning another brand which arrived cracked (maybe because it appeared flimsy). I tried this unit from Vevor as I'm happy with various of their outdoor materials. I was not disappointed. I has a solid metal bucket and study plastic centrifuge.My old Ridgid hose did not fit the 2in inlet tightly, neither did the hose I attach to the tools. I wrapped plumbers tape along the edge of the smaller tubes to get a tight fit.

It’s really quite good for the brand. I used it as a second cyclone after my Super Dust Deputy to collect the fines, and it works great.

Not as efficient as a Dust Deputy and takes up more room, but does a satisfactory job of dust separation. Misses a bit of the very fine debris.

I do a lot of wood lathe work which generates huge quantities of shavings. I shovel up the big piles and wanted to use the dust collector to vacuum the remaining shavings but immediately plug the system. Adding this cyclone dramatically improves the functionality of my system. The cyclone separates the shavings which drop into the can and allows fine dust particles to go on to the dust collector. The top dust port could be a little longer to make it easier to clamp hoses on. Easy to open and empty the can. Great value

The actual separator is great, but all the fittings are 2 inch diameter.It does come with reducer pieces but that defeats the whole purpose in my mind
