Needed to replace the foam surround on my 12 inch Velodyne sub. Ordered this kit and couldn't be happier with the quality. The Material is top quality and well packed so no worries about shipping. I was really concerned about shipping something fragile like this but it was very well packed. It was shipped the next morning after I ordered as well so supper fast shipment. This is the first time I have done a foam repair and the directions and youtube video were both great. This wasn't hard to do at all and just takes some patience. Be sure to get a good box cutter with a flat blade to scrape off the old foam, 91% alcohol to clean the remaining after scraping. Good quality product and adhesive. Would buy from these guys again in a heartbeat.

This was the 1st Time I did a replacement, They had a web site for instructions.cone alignment was the hardest part ( as Father Time kindly removed most of the old surround for me ),but if you follow the directions is quite easy. Just get yourself an Exacto knife set, with not only the pointbut the flat blade as well, some paper towels, some rubbing alcohol and some patience.It sounds new again, which is saying something as the receipt says I bought my sub in 1996, so now that the surroundis fixed the amp will Blow :P

This kit resurrected my Velodyne ULD-12 from the dead in one evening. It was an easy installation for a fairly anal guy and my sub sounds as good as new. Much better than buying a new $1000 sub! If you're in the market for a sub foam repair kit, give this a shot. You won't be out a bundle if everything goes gunny-sacks, but when it works, your sub will be back in its place of honor rocking your house.

I'm a musician, finicky do-it-yourselfer, and, above all, a sentimental fool when it comes to my equipment. I used to replace speakers when their surrounds failed. It was usually a pretty expensive deal, and I was never happy, because the replacement pieces - unless they were expensive factory units - just didn't sound as good. This type of repair virtually guarantees that the sound will be restored, not replaced. Pretty easy to do, and the kit is complete, with easy-to-follow instructions. I've used this company's products before to repair a piano I have, and it's still rocking. Great stuff.
