I have tried 25 different hiking boots that include every brand out there. I have bunions that make my toebox wide. Tough to find a good fit that are comfortable. These fit every checkbox for me. I can even wear my custom orthotics in them if I wanted to but aren’t necessary since they are so comfortable. I would highly recommend trying these hiking boots.

I can stand for hours and my feet won’t hurt. Every time I wear them, I get a compliment, but most importantly, my feet do not hurt standing for hours…

Purchased these boots wanting a non-slip grip with Vibram rubber for hiking at Lake Tahoe. I previously wore a Columbia hiking boot that was very comfortable, but their Omni-grip proves to not have very good traction. I have high arches so I typically put in an insert for added support. I was nervous when I received the Vasque boots as when I had my inserts in, they did not feel good at all. My husband suggested trying without the inserts and to MY SURPRISE, these Vasque boots have WONDERFUL arch support all on their own! I have a narrow heel as well, and these boots fit great! Not even really giving them a chance to break in (wore them in the house while making dinner); we were off to Tahoe and we hiked 23 miles in three days in ALL different terrain and these boots were awesome! Never a blister, sore spot, NOTHING. Very happy with this purchase! I typically wear a size 8, and I ordered a size 8-1/2 after reading reviews. I do think I could of went with a size 8; but I don't mind an 8-1/2 as I can wear thicker socks for winter hiking. I'm a happy hiker!

Bought July 13th, return window closed aug 14th,its sept 24th...they are most definitely not waterproof or even slightly water resistant at this point. Will never ever buy this brand again....I'm going to call customer support and see if they can be any help because for 150.00+ bucks they should at least be waterproof like they claim to be for longer than 3 months! Totally unacceptable in a hiking shoe that's supposed to be waterproof.

These are gorgeous boots. Lovely color, great ankle support, just what I was looking for, if they made them in bigger sizes. I just wore out the boots I've been hiking and climbing mountains in for 24 years and decided to give these a try. I'm over 6' and wear a solid women's size 11 in most brands. I own and love a pair of women's vasque snow boots in size 11 that fit me perfectly, so naturally I bought these in 11 assuming they would fit. Unfortunately, they were so short my toes hurt after wearing them around the house in mere minutes. I even tried to wear them 3 separate evenings around the house bc they are so beautiful, before returning them. If your feet are smaller than mine, I would say to size up a full size. I am not able to as their largest size is 11, so these went back. I opted for Merrell Hiking Boots in size 12 (Merrell always runs small, but I knew that from other purchases) and those fit perfectly, but these are still prettier with better support. Please make larger sizes for us tall ladies!!

I purchased this same boot several times in the past few years. I used to buy a size 6.5, until this last year, based on my feet changing and possibly a change to the boot fit. They have always run narrow in the heel and arch, and appear to maintain these features. I now order a size 7.5 for roominess in the toe box area. You might want to order these a half a size larger if you plan on wearing heavy socks for activities.These are a light boot for trail/hiking activities, and not for serious backpacking. They are light and sturdy, have great traction, and will last. There are no mesh vents since they are ultra-dry, and have a tendency to be very warm in the summer months. I love the thick, soft padding on the inside and top of the tongue, and all around the ankle support! You never have to worry about sore ankles when hiking for several hours! Like any good boot, they will need breaking in, but not for long. I plan on buying another pair or maybe two!

My first pair of Vasques lasted 10 years of hard use. This is my second, and I expect they'll last as long. They're stylish, well-made with great detailing, sturdy all-season boots. Traction is great, even on ice (But not slip/oil resistant), and especially in fall-winter environments.Breaking the boots in took a few days, but even brand new, they fit well, and are lighter weight than earlier models with a good balance between breathability and warmth.The coloring is rich and deep and uniform red-brown.I'm looking forward to having these boots a long time and having them be my all-season go-to footwear.

I wanted to like these so bad. The support of the shoe and the traction on the bottom are amazing, however, they were too small for me. My foot tends to be on the wider side, though I never need to opt for size W. I bought this boot in my normal size 6 and it was too narrow. I even bought 6.5 to see if that changed anything and weirdly enough it felt smaller and the color was a little darker than my size 6. I’m returning both which is so sad because I really wanted to keep them. Rating them a 4 because it’s a great boot if they fit you.
