PPM-SLIM is the smallest in our Personal Pocket Maximizer (PPM) series: 6.5" (H) x 4.25" (W) x 0.75" (D). It is scaled to fit in your pants or jacket pockets, and it’s just the right size for a 3” x 5” Rite in the Rain notepad, plus the essentials of your daily life. Inside, flat or wide items slip into the two slot pockets, while other items are organized by elastic loops. Lined with hi-viz Orange 210-D ripstop nylon for quick identification and low light use. Outside, the front slip pocket is secured by hook-&-loop fastener, YKK #8 zippers (non-lockable) with paracord pulls, and a ID/Morale patch loop panel. I like the product although the zips aren’t as smooth as I’d like/expect. Proper buyers remorse though - £30 for a little cordura pouch is a little upsetting even though it’s exactly what was expected.

I use it for a fire starting kit. Packs away nicely and holds a lot of things! Could also be used as a mini first aide kit as well.

The concept of a pocket organiser is fairly new to me. If I am going out for general errands, I prefer wearing cargo shorts in summer and cargo trousers in winter. I can use the various pockets for largish items on their own if needed. I live in a country where "EDC" isn't really an option in regards to weapons. So this was a trip into the unknown purchase for me.The VANQUEST PPM-Slim 2.0 Personal Pocket Maximizer, is well made, has plenty of places to put and hold smaller items. Plus, it's a perfect size to fit my Samsung S20. It also provides some added protection to my phone.However, even with smaller items I can distribute them amongst the various pockets and therefore distribute the weight. With everything in the one pocket, I feel the weight on one side of the shorts/trousers and it feels 'off'. But, I think that is just me needing to get used to it. Interestingly, the straps on the back allow it to slide onto my belt so I can carry it on my waist in a horizontal position. This makes it handy to get to my phone, without having to open it completely.Overall, this is a very well made item that I'm sure is going to see plenty of use.

If you are looking for a small organizer for your pack this will be the thing for you. Well made and just the right amount of loops and pockets to help keep items together .

This zipper requires extensive force. It is not smooth catches on the seams. I expected it to be smooth and to glide. It doesn’t. If I were to find myself in a situation where I absolutely needed the contents, I would lose. They should be ashamed of themselves for the quality. Even a pencil case has better qualities unless you’re shopping at the dollar store. Do Not Buy! Don’t. Spend your money elsewhere

An sich habe ich mich in diesen organizer verliebt. Doch habe ich ihn gerade mal rund eine Woche, noch nicht wirklich genutzt und schon gehen die Nähte flöten. So, Artikel wird zurück gesendet und eine weitere Chance wird durch Neubestellung gegeben... Vielleicht war es eine Montagsproduktion... Dann wird die Rezension angepasst... Bisher allerdings mehr als unbefriedigend

This was my first foray into Vanguard products. I'd gotten a Grid-It years ago and liked it, but when I saw these pouch-style organizers, I knew I'd like them even more.The PPM-SLIM is definitely slim. I got it to organize the crap in my backpack, which kept falling out of the internal pockets and would just end up in a mess in the bottom of the pack. To that end, it does pretty well. Currently, I have the following items in my PPM-Slim:- full size Sharpie- Maglite Mini (with the pocket clip)- a ziploc of Q-Tips- a small comb- a small pill bottle (for ibuprofen, acetaminophen, allergy pills etc.)- a pack of GUM flosser picks- a foldup toothbrush- an iPhone charge cable (3ft)- nail clippers- plastic spork- a pair of earplugs in a soft caseIn the front pocket, I have a thin charger and some small paper bags. This setup basically works for me. It holds pretty much everything I had in my backpack. Better yet, it fits neatly in the bottom of my bag so I can almost forget it exists until I need something from it. That much is cool.Build quality is pretty solid. As others have said, the zippers are very stiff when you first get it. The case will also eventually fit more as it stretches out a bit. When I first packed the case, it was distended around the middle and I wasn't sure how much I'd like it. After a few days and some gentle massaging, it started to lay flatter, and is basically back to being a neat rectangle again. I have little doubt that this could hold up to some abuse; it feels very tough.Why 4-stars? Well, it's a little on the small side (obviously) but I felt like it was a little tricky to get my stuff packed in to utilize the space. I with it had another set of elastic bands across the main bands for smaller items, such as my nail clippers. Right now, they take up a full band. Also, it wasn't quite bit enough to fit a small Moleskin notebook. Technically, the notebook fits, but it was a pain to get in and out and I was worried the pages would get messed up over time. Finally, I wish the front pocket DIDN'T have Velcro. It's nice and deep, but I don't want to put anything small in there because fishing it out involves scratching the crap outta my hand. Unless the innards of your PPM are pretty empty, the tension of the pack will hold that pocket closed, so the Velcro is kind of unnecessary in my opinion.I like it, and I think it'll work for me, but it just wasn't perfect. That said, it was convincing enough for me to go to Vanguard's website and by an FTIM SLIM, so it's definitely not bad!

Another great product from Vanquest. The only problem was on my part. I read the comments about how small this is and I did not heed it. So keep in mind that this is small very small. Now I just need to buy the size up, which I will do. This will easily fit inside a BDU pocket with room to spare.
