2.25" V-band Clamp Kit Feature
V-Band clamps are perfect for applications requiring frequent removal. They provide a quicker disassembly yet provide a great seal with even pressure at the flange.
Once the flanges are welded in place the included V-band clamp slips over the connections and secures the flanges together, providing a leak-free sea.
Application
The V-Band Clamps/Couplings offer effective fastening solutions in exhaust systems, remove intercooler systems and turbo parts, such as charge piping, intake pipes, diesel engines, turbochargers, and heavy-duty exhaust systems. Etc
Material
Each assembly consists of two 304 Stainless Steel Flat flanges and one 304 Stainless Steel V-band clamp,providing a perfect overlap seam for welding.
Advise
You can use a drop of anti-seize on the clamp’s retaining nut. This helps extend the life of the clamp and protects the ability of the fastener.

I bought one of these v bands a year ago, and it has been working well, the band was strong, and was made from good stuff... However. My second time around buying this clamp, and expecting the same level of quality did not turn out that way, this one was cheap. The threads got jacked up on the first install, and it was over with. The messed up part is, I need to return this, but I'm not going two steps backwards by cutting off those flanges I've installed just to return this crap.

Needed a few header collector connectors got these same day deliver and was up and running in a few wrench turns great quality and a very fair price

Flange looks great. I am going to use a different nut though. It came with a nylock.
