Application: Dust cap protective dome is one of the maintenance or repair parts for speaker, woofers, subwoofer, and coils.
Installation: Remove the cap carefully (Use a tweezer, tape or hook, do not hurt the coils) and clean the bonded circle. Gluing a circle around the coil base on the cap's size, attaching the new cap to cover the coil and make sure it was sealed. Remove the remaining glue when everything is good.

After a vindictive ex-wife destroyed the dust caps on my center speaker, I found these and a bottle of adhesive to replace the crushed and punctured dust caps. They fit perfectly and my speaker sounds normal after the replacement. Even though the magnet is vented to the cabinet, I found that the bass returned to these speakers after replacing the crushed and pictures dust caps.
