Used this to replace a blown speaker in a Cobra Rad450 radar detector, which used a 0.8w 8 ohm speaker that was a hair's width wider. Worked perfectly.

The speaker I received is 40mm diameter! Not cool. Especially realizing this after I soldered it in to my radio. What is so difficult about this?

The speaker fit perfectly and performed well. It didn't have as loud of an output as the original speaker did but it sounds good and works well. I would buy it again - especially for the price.
