Double Ended Screws are self-tapping wood threads at one end, which can be directly locked into the soft material (wood). The other end is a mechanical thread, which can be locked with the nut. 1. Choose the size, flat position, and style according to the needs of installation at the time of purchase. There are some errors due to manual measurement, but it will not affect its use.

2. The mechanical threaded end (flat end) cannot use with a hammer, as it will make the thread and become unusable.

Carbon Steel Double-headed Screws

Carbon steel double-headed screws are first fixed at the middle flat end with a snap hex wrench and locked into the self-tapping end by force. If there is no flat end in the middle, there is a hexagonal groove on the mechanical threaded end. It can also be installed and operated with a hexagonal wrench.

In the wooden legs of sofas, coffee tables, tables, etc., the effect of double-headed screws can generally be seen. When repairing and replacing the wooden feet of this furniture, you only need to unscrew them, and you can change a new screw, which is very convenient.

I've just taken up woodworking and purchased a router table. As such, I needed to build a small stand on which to mount the bench. I had the idea to put these as "studs" so I could secure the router table, but still make it removable for transport or to use the stand for other purposes. They were shorter than I had wanted, but that was my fault for not thinking it through. I knew how high I wanted them, but didn't take into consideration if you screw them fully up to the threads, they'll be shorter than half the length (dohp!). I also didn't realize these have a star driver on the top and I used the old two nut method, but that worked fine too.
