Works ok. Previous ones I had had raised sides a bit to help hold it in place better and seemed to be a bit more secure and rugged. This one is just a simple rubber oval circle. Holds ok, seems to depend on the cell phone or headphones I've placed them in. Ok, but would look elsewhere if pricing is similar

I use an outside pocket on my pants and the charging port can be exposed to falling dirt at work. This keeps the port perfectly clean.
