After a year or two in the California sun, all of these clips have broke and became useless. These do not stand the test of time. These are not meant for outdoor use.

I searched and searched for the right size of clip to mount my string of lights on my deck. These fit perfect and we’re supper easy to install and I loved the final results. The issues is that this is year two and they are all breaking and falling apart. Now I have 100s of screw holes in my deck and I need to replace the entire set of mounting clips and find new wholes or a new way to Mount the strings. So the conclusion is that while they are the perfect size, they cannot stand up to any weather. If you are using these in a climate controlled area I still recommend them but they are definitely not for outdoor use. They should have said that in their ad! I feel very misled and I wasted time in my life I’ll never get back installing junk and now I have to redo the work all because they didn’t say these were not good for outdoor use.

It worked perfectly. Loved the feel and look of the strips, I got the clear cover which is a bit opaque, but not enough to difuse the lights being reflected on the granite counter. Though I don’t mind. They work perfectly and make the led strip application look more professional. Got way more than needed but I will for sure use on future proyects.
