Because rubber material is soft and elastic, we recommend choosing rubber end cap that is slightly smaller than the outer diameter of the product to be protected. For example: the outer diameter of your product is 9.8mm dia, choose the rubber cover of 9.5mm!

Had some aluminum accordion storm shutters installed on the windows, but noticed afterwards that at the upper rails and on some of the sides that the screws they used were mostly exposed as they went through the support pieces.I thought that was kind of ugly and cheap looking and ordered these vinyl caps to cover them. Since I was not sure of the size I needed this kit was perfect. I needed the 3/16" size and installed them with just a small dab of silicone adhesive to make sure they stay in place.

The product is well-made and each size is packaged in its own zip lock bag. The website recommended ordering 1 size smaller as the product stretches. The outside dimension was 2/8 inches, I tried putting on the 1/8" with my hands. Then I tried using a long nose pliers. It took A LOT of force to push the cap down. The 3/8" was too big. I had to ask a guy to put on the remaining 3 caps. He used WD40 as lubrication. He had a hard time getting them installed correctly. The first cap I installed was squished from the pliers and a piece was broken off. I wish there was an easier installation process.

**This is only my opinion here**. This is a nice assortment of some popular Imperial sizes, but not the best fit. Especially the 3/8 size, they are a little too loose. I suspect these could be metric sizes, that are marketed as Imperial sizes. I will keep these, as they are still nice to have on hand.

I had some fabric calendars printed up for gifts. I needed caps for on the ends of dowel rods for hanging. These worked perfectly.

My wife has a number of plate / dish holders that have metal ‘legs’. Some of them have lost their rubber feet and would scratch without protection. This assortment is great as it has so many sizes and can everything we own.
