I needed something in order to have dual monitors. I have a Mac and an Acer monitor and hooked them up with this and it works great= dual monitors. Easy to set up.

This is the first time I have ever left a review for a product, much less a negative one. But if I can help just one person it will be worth it. Save your money and yourself the headache and buy the Apple brand like I wish I would have in the first place. This little gadget was ok for about a week then it fried my laptop. It no longer powers on.. does not make a sound.. it cut out in the middle of sending an email and never turned back on. The battery was fully charged and the laptop is less than a year old. I wish I would have listened to others that said to not buy this, but "did not think it would happen to me" it did :(

I bought this to hook up an extra screen while I work. It was poor quality and ended up not working after a month or so. My second monitor would consistently go out while on calls or working on projects. I thought maybe it was my monitor but tried using my husband’s adapter and my faulty screen issue was solved. Not worth the money.

This product is okay its good for traveling but its kindda hard to get to serve its purpose. I had troubles making it to work and even thought it was broken but i was mistaken you just have to plug it right into your laptop. You really get what you paid because its not the most expensive adapter and really there are better options out there.
