The product is well made.The only down fall I find is that it's only a on switch meaning it draws from the battery at all times this is why I gave it 4 stars.A rocker switch should be a on and off switch.

This is a must have add on for older cars. It fits in most rectangular openings, sometimes with minor modifications. And keeps and eye on the alternator output.

I love these. I installed three in a rocker box that I put in my motorcycle tank-bag. Just like that I have six charging ports, three PD and three 5v.The big annoyance, however, is that you can’t turn off the voltage display. It’s always on and draining your battery.Worse, the display isn’t very useful at all. It just shows the INPUT voltage, and also, only the voltage, which is always going to be around 12v.The display would actually be useful if it showed the PD port OUTPUT wattage, so you could tell what power/speed your PD device had negotiated. Or, ideally the output voltage, amperage and wattage. That’s a lot to ask, so just the output wattage would be perfectly good and super-helpful.Devices sometimes don’t negotiate correctly. If you could see the output Wattage on the display you could unplug and replug the device back in so it renegotiates the correct fast-charge Voltage and Amperage.But any display at all, I don’t want it glowing all the time, sucking down battery power when I don’t even have anything plugged into the ports. That’s terrible. I don’t understand why there’s not a version without the power-sucking display.How to fix this?Option 1 would be no display, or the display only lights up if there’s some device getting charged or powered from one of the USB ports. That would be very easy.Option 2: Make the device also an actual rocker switch which will turn the display (and maybe even the USB output) on or off. This is a more serious change, but would make for a great “pro” version of the device.Option 3: Have the display show output Wattage instead of input Voltage. A bit of redesign, but it would really be a great differentiator or enhancement.Option 4: A device that implemented all of the above, but clicking the rocker would cycle through output Voltage, Amperage, Wattage and Off. This would be a fantastic product, and well worth a higher price.All this said, I’m pretty happy with these chargers that replaced rocker switches. They’re so much better looking than using an adapter plugged into a lighter socket, and having a PD port is great.

I installed this in my 2008 Polaris Ranger 700 XP switch panel for the main purpose of monitoring my battery voltage/charging system. For me, the fact that it has dual USB charge ports is a bonus. It fit perfectly after removing an accessory switch blank cover, it looks nice and the bright blue LED display is easy to see in broad daylight. The installation was easy with a simple two wire hookup. I connected it through the ignition switch so that it only operates when the machine is running.I read reviews of other competing units which complain that those units monitor battery voltage until you plug in a cell phone to the USB charging port, at which time the meter stops monitoring battery voltage and switches to monitoring current drain through the USB charge port. This unit does not do that. It monitors battery voltage continuously.An easy five-star rating. Since I just installed this unit on 04/05/2023, I'll update if I have any issues.
