Most of the newer thin laptops do not have an ethernet port. I realized this after purchasing my new laptop but I love my laptop so I just needed to find a solution. Saw this and the price was good enough to give it a shot. It's small form factor makes it easy to store in my laptop case. Build quality seems really good and the cord is not too long and not too short.All I had to do was plug it into my USB-C port and plug in the ethernet cord coming from my router. That is! It connected instantly. My laptop recognized it as a Realtek Ethernet Adapter. I did a quick speed test and got a bit more than 500/500 MBPS, which is the speed that I pay for with Verizon Fios. Unfortunately I cannot test at speeds faster than that but I do not need anything faster. Been using it for a week now with no issues. Pretty easy and cheap solution to my dilemma.

I got this product to test and can say I am more than impressed with it's production quality, speeds, reliability, and the professionalism of the company they were incredibly kind during all of their responses and even helped me with an issue I had with payment the speeds are just as advertised and it's compatible with all of my laptops I've tested it on overall it's a genuinely good product

I have my internet hardwired and the new laptops don't come with an ethernet port. This is what you need to connect the ethernet cable to the laptop.
