They really shine brighter than conventional halogen ones, but, I don't think they are as powerful as 40,000 Lms LEDs with an external driver.I would definitely prefer to buy LEDs with an external driver, If you really want better lighting than conventional halogen.These 40,000 lm LEDs improve the lighting, but not enough to make this expense. I would definitely recommend the option of LEDs with an external driver and not this all-in-one.About quality, I can't comment on quality and durability because I've only been using them for 1 week.They are very very quiet, you can't hear the fan at all and they are simple and very easy to install, yes, but I don't think they really represent 40,000 real Lms.

Easy to install! What a fantastic upgrade from the 55W and 60W low/high beam bulbs. We had no issues with flickering or vehicle error codes. A very thoughtful addition was the cotton gloves for installation. The cool white color of the emitted light is remarkable. These will be much safer for dusk/dawn and night driving.

These things are bright! And they make the correct pattern in my tacoma housing. Metal body and the fan is inside the headlight which I like.

Both bulbs failed within a week and before that they sent codes and flickered badly.Tried to get customer service to help and all they did was frustrate me with their poor responses and insistence on me giving them more information than they should already have. They are purposefully unhelpful in the hopes that you'll give up and I did.Before warned if you buy these bulbs you WILL be disappointed

These lights are insanely bright compared to the factory lights. There is really no need to turn on the high beams with these. I may get some for the high beams as well just to see how much brighter and further they reach. I'll probably get some for my other vehicles even though I do not have a light out. We live out in the country where there are no lights and my wife does not have the best night vision and hates driving at night. I put these in yesterday and we went somewhere after dark. She said she could actually see the road well enough that she would be comfortable driving at night.These were one of the cheaper bulbs and since I've only had them in the vehicle for a day, I cannot comment on the quality or the longevity but if they last a year or two they will be well worth the money. They were super easy to install as well. They just twisted in the same as a traditional bulb.
