Updated 3/17/25After breaking down multiple sheets of plywood for a cabinet build, I’ve found that this square is not square. On a 4 foot rip, the end of the board is 1/4”off. For general purpose stuff this may be fine, but for projects that don’t have the benefit of using spackle or caulk to hide poor craftsmanship, this is unacceptable. Spend your money elsewhere and get a better product. This would be completely useless if you tried ripping a full 8 foot sheet.I have double checked that all the hardware is tight and installed correctly. This is just an inaccurate item.Original ReviewI’m using this on an Evolution track with a Wen track saw. It appears square to the track and well made. The finish is on par with any other anodized Chinese aluminum product. Not bad, just generic. The clamps are not sprung like other higher end options, but they are replaceable if that’s an issue to you and the price is right.

Seems well made and attaches to the Makita rails well. Unfortunately it is NOT square with the rail, off by approx. 3/16" over 4 ft. It's subtle if checking with a speed square, but pull out a machinist square or check it on a factory edge piece of sheet good (plywood, etc), I can see the angle error. With no adjustment possible, this makes it useless junk.

The tool mounted to my Festool track easily in seconds. The mounting clips hold it tight to the track without any movement. It makes track saw set up much faster but its short length limits its use. It requires measuring before making parallel 90 degree rips. As long as you have reasonable expectation as to the benefits of this tool, you'll like how it simplifies and speeds up set up of the track. I measured the angle with a machinist's set up square and it was 90 degrees. If you're using two connected track sections to rip an 8 foot sheet, you can't rely on this short piece of metal to place your track exactly parallel to the last cut. The quality of manufacturing is very good.

Just received this two days ago and connected it to my Makita rail as shown in the photo. According to my 24” 90 angle it’s spot on. The build quality is very nice and seems solid. I haven’t had a chance to use it yet, but I’m optimistic that it’s going to work great. I’ll try to update on how it does once I get time to use it.

I have numerous Festool tracks and wanted a short one to be a designated 90° track, so I thought I'd give this one a try. I have one of the more expensive brand name versions and it's great as well, but this one is honestly just as true as it is, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one if I needed it.

Pro: fits snugly with my Makita trackCons: not square! Crosscutting a 48” sheet results in variance up to 1/8” from one corner to the other. Completely defeats the purpose when trying to break down sheet goods into useable parts. I wouldn’t even consider using it with my long track for rip cuts.I thought it was worth a shot at this price. Maybe some get lucky and end up with a square one. I definitely did not.

I have festool 55" guide rail. I believe this is dead on and worked well with festool clamp. To test I used my woodpecker tee square 24" and extended it to 48". 55" guide was right on with this test.I was nervous after reading reviews for similar products. This one has two snaps and is very tight when installed. 5 big stars from me ...festool want 200 dollar for the same thing. BUY
