Weakest beam clamp on the market. Do not buy. Can't use with a drill. They bend with any type of pressure. Useless when installing 100s of them.

These were good. Fit right. Didn't bend when. Tightening and the side bolts hel boxes and conduit good.

When tightening the clamp, it flexed and bent outward at sides. Metal is thin and has flaps that fold over to maintain rigidity. Will not buy again….

Certainly, you can use these to place a clamp on the web of a W or I girder and then attach a conduit clip with a 1/4-20 bolt or you could pass through the end holes a piece of 3/8 threaded rod and put some jamnuts on it to suspend a light fixture or something. However, these are great for grabbing onto metal materal that has a seam or folded edge. Need to put dividers on a metal rack shelf in your garage, these clamps solidly attach and make connections easy, but no holes to drill. Yes, they clamp and will leave a mark on the metal surface, but that is easy to refinish than weld points or holes. Also, if you need to clamp a few pieces of strap metal before welding, these are great temporary holders for that and allow for multiple attachment points. I always keep a few in my tool box for "just in case."

Should have looked at reviews before purchase . Quality is awful. Bends super easy when you tighten. Don't plan on this supporting anything. Will NOT buy again.

They work…. But are so cheaply made they bend when you really tighten them down. You get what you pay for I guess…

I used to use a cast iron version of these clamps to hang fire protection sprinkler piping in warehouses, malls and other types of new construction where fire protection systems are required by law. These are very similar but are made of folded sheet metal for small diameter pipe or conduit and they can be clamped to beams or other structure up to 3/4" thick. They are threaded for both 1/4" and 3/8" All Thread Rod or can be used to hang hooks to hang tools or other items on to organize a garage or shop area. These are a great deal for only $20 which is less than $1/ clamp and they work as expected so they get 5 stars from me!
