This item will not work with a Gotrax Apex scooter as advertised. This has the male connection but needs to be a female connection to be compatible.

The part worked great, but the wire connection was the wrong harness and required some modifications. The scooter model number compatibility listed was not 100% clear. I will order part again if I break another handle again. Minor modifications was easy.

This universal brake handle for electric bike is well-made. All wiring works well. Brakes work well. It’s a fairly simple install if you have worked on bike brakes before.Plastic construction, but looks and feels very durable. Overall construction is similar to that of regular bicycle brakes and is pretty much the same way you would adjust bike brakes. Very happy with the quality of this bicycle break lever.

All in all a well built brake handle, but the connector is male whereas original is female, so won't plug-in.
