I ordered this short-sleeve coat a size smaller than the long-sleeve version because the long-sleeve version was a tiny bit too big for me. This short-sleeve coat runs a size smaller than the long-sleeve version of this coat, so I had to send it back.The return process was a little annoying because I am used to using a simple Amazon return protocol. Keep in mind, this is mailed through USPS. You will need to actually print out a return label and tape it to the package. It does not give an option to scan and send at the USPS.The coat is very nice, clean, and crisp. If you work in a hot kitchen this is a much better choice over the thick twill type of coat.This fits nicely on a tall person. I am a thin 5' 10" and it is long enough. I ordered this in an extra small and it was too small in the shoulders for me, so I sent it back.The small fits well in the short sleeve, but I could have sized up (because of the hip measurement) to a medium.I also ordered a small in the long sleeve version and it fit well, with a little extra room around the chest up through the shoulders....would work well if you have an "hourglass" figure.If you are thinking of ordering this in both the long and short sleeve, size up in the short sleeve and down in the long sleeve.* For reference, I typically wear a medium in a regular shirt because of my shoulders and height.

It is so cute on. Love that I still have a figure wearing it. I went down to an xs and it's still very comfy due to the stretch panels on the sides. And it stays together instead of the overlap part sticking out at the bottom like the button ones do.

I like the zipper idea and it really fits nicely on me I’m going to look really cute at work next week. Lets see how it holds up in a few washes. I’m going to buy some more.

These particular chef coats are the absolute BEST women's cut coats I've ever worn in my 25 year long career as a chef. The fit is absolutely perfect. Not too long or too tight, which is often the case when it comes to other brands of women's chef coats. There's a good amount of stretch to these and the zipper is as smooth as butter in my saute pan. No problem washing these coats that I've experienced; no fading, fraying or falling apart with these things. The mesh panels give good ventilation and help make these coats that much easier to maneuver all around my line. I'm thrilled that I don't need to wear ill fitting men's chef coats any longer!! I'm a short 5'5½" (yup, that half an inch definitely counts lolol) curvy brawd (50" bust, 40" waist, 51" hips, 19" wide shoulders, 23" long torso) and this coat in a 2xl fits me like a a dream. The length is perfect on me, it stops right at my pelvic line area, making it so i dont have to fight to get in my pockets for anything. And the shoulders aren't down on my biceps or bunching up on me when I move my arms (which is what I do constantly on saute) or knocking my pens and temp gage all over the place. It is definitely worth the money, that's for certain. We all work too dang hard for our money to just be throwing it away on men's chefs coats that make us look like a blocky video game shaped person or ridiculously priced female chefs coats that isn't much better from Chef Works and other similar company's. LOOK NO FURTHER ladies!! I'm telling y'all..... this is THEEEEE coat to end all coats. Do yourselves a solid and scoop a few of these baddies up! You work hard, you deserve to look good while you do it girls! I know I'll definitely be ordering more than just the 2 I initially bought. Thanks for making such an AMAZING women's cut chef coat Chef's Closet!! You've absolutely earned a new forever customer in me y'all. Keep up the superb and solid work Chef's Closet! Fantastic job. Now if only UPS could get it together when delivering these fabulous coats to me, I'd be even more thrilled to order more.
