This was awful. I have met my match. I do a lot of different crafts like diamond painting ceramics paint by number beaded ornaments ect but I could not get this to work. First time I had to throw away a project. Lost four hours of time: very disappointed because it really likes the sunflower picture. I tried to take it apart and thought I could just paint it but chunks of foam came off.

Product description and photos include the pattern board. Kit came in a small box with paper, tools and instructions but no pattern board. The reason I gave this item one star is because there is not a lower choice. Now I have to wase me time returning this. Don't waste your time and money.

When I watched the video of this product, I thought it was an easier approach to typographical quilling.... I have not found that to be true. I have been doing quilling for about 3-4 months and find the usual approach much easier and less frustrating.

Had to quit after just a few lines. I do love all sorts of DYI art projects but this one did not fork for me. Paper ribbons would not stick/stay put.

I haven’t decided if I like unquilling or not. It is difficult to get the pieces the right length. I don’t feel like where you put the paper is always cut. I am crossed eyed when working on it!

This arrived folded in just a bubble wrap sleeve. The "canvas" and paper strips in the kit were bent, creased, and squashed. It took 4 days of resting books evenly on the canvas to flatten it (2 days on the back and 2 on the front). The tools are cheap and I cut my finger on the plastic molding of the awl. This isn't a kit for beginners. There are no real instructions, just a piece of paper saying how to match the color on the chart. There is nothing to explain how to manipulate the paper strips or what the tools are for. I guessed the little bottle is for glue, but what type? Do you put the glue on the paper or the canvas? How do I know how big or small to cut the paper? There is not even a reference to a website for more instructions. I don't think that this kit is worth the price. I'm a very experienced crafter, and after figuring out everything on my own, I feel like I could do this type of project again, and might even purchase the canvas and strips separately if they were more reasonably priced. I'd just have to live with having to flatten them out myself.

Says it is for adult beginners. How is one to make the item? No idea how to start. My first time to try quilling. Will not purchase from this person again. I see where a family member had moved the instructions. I still find it difficult to begin. I assume to purchase a clear glue? How do you take strips of paper and attach? Do you work with each and figure out how to cut it, trial and error, straight cut or down to a point? Colours to start with a hard to distinguish. I see a dark colour and a yellow to begin with. Picture seems like different shades of yellow for the flower. Begin with the outside of the flower and end of doing the stamens at the end of the picture?
