I got this for my husband for our 8th year anniversary and I absolutely love it. It is sturdy, strong, and well made. The instructions on how to decode it is clear and easy to follow. I think this is such a cute, unique, and great gift for any special occasion. The inside compartment isn't too big, but it is perfect to place in a sweet letter for the person you are gifting.When making another code, you really have to line the pieces up perfectly, which can seem annoying, but you will appreciate the craftsmanship because it means that the cryptex will work the way it is supposed to.I think this is can also be a fun addition to parties/games if you're into making your own Escape Room.

We used the Cryptex Da Vinci Code Mini Cryptex during an office event, and it was an absolute success. Its sophisticated design and mystery added an engaging and fun element to our activities. The build quality is impressive, and the lock mechanism functioned seamlessly throughout the event. Although the instructions for setting and resetting the password were a bit complex, it did not hinder our overall experience. It promotes problem-solving and teamwork in a fun and unique way. Highly recommended!

This is exactly what I wanted, as a display piece. I have a second one, which I gifted to my wife at Valentine's, but it has the heart cut out on the inside. It’s great for the intended purpose, but not so much as an everyday display puzzle. Wish I had discovered this one first, but had used the first, so couldn’t return it. The only advantage of the first, is it shipped with two “Lord of the Rings” rings, which I worked in to my clue sheet. I went with “MELLON” as the answer to my clues.

Have always wanted one of these! This is not a cheap plastic kids toy. Very sturdy metal with decent weight to it! Very well constructed and worth every penny! Absolutely love it for a conversation piece, and it's fully functional too! Works awesome!

Heavy, yet so small and wonderfully detailed. What mysteries may hide inside. I’m really impressed by this little package. It comes delightfully packaged with everything needed to modify the combination. I only gave it four stars because the rings don’t stay in place when moving neighboring rings, making it a bit more laborious to actually open the safe. However, for the money this will make a wonderful gift and a treasure to hold.

I got this as a present from my husband. He put earrings inside. It was so intriguing and a lot of fun to figure out the code. The turning wheels are a little loose, but it did not bother me. The cryptex is heavy, made out of metal. You can change the code and reuse it.

I ordered two of these right before Christmas as a way to gift cash. They arrived super fast even during the holiday season, even a day earlier than promised. The metal is very substantial and doesn't feel cheap at all. Will be a great keepsake even after the gift is retrieved from them.Took me about 10 minutes to figure out how to reset the combination, but was a breeze to do the second one once I figured it out once.Pro-tip: Loosen, but don't remove the two screws before resetting the combination. You don't need to take the screws all the way out to open it and those screws are TINY and would be super easy to lose. They provided an extra set in case that happened, which was thoughtful.The box is really fancy and perfect for a gift, and a nice card is enclosed that you can fill out as a gift card.
