This switch is a common failure point for Jeep vehicles. This has the correct connector for my 2005 Liberty. Another one I ordered had a three-pin connector where this is a two-pin connector. I took a star off because it really should come with a new o-ring and it does not. Otherwise, good value and works as it should.

Antes de comprarlo puentea el arnés y si activa el compresor y enfría pueden reemplazar el sensor ya que no está activandolo, si lo activa pero no enfría falta gas en el sistema

Fixed my excessively-running AC on my 2003 Jeep Liberty (3.6L). The old switch was failing to tell the system to turn off the AC, so the compressor was running excessively and during cold outside temperatures the whole evaporator coil (inside the HVAC box, behind the glovebox) would freeze up and not allow any air (hot or cold) to pass. So lack of any airflow (despite the fan running fine) was my symptom.

My A/C didn't work for several years. I took my jeep to a number of places to have the A/C serviced and none of them managed to actually fix the problem. Did some research on YouTube and hit on replacing this thing. Worked like a charm. Got A/C again. Perfect! Easy Easy Easy to install. Unplug the wire, hand turn the old switch and unscrew it to remove it. Screw the new one in, reattach the wire. Boom. Done.
