Great idea but the flexing of the 4x4 once fastened loosens the stake from the concrete. Better off just getting a two-foot longer 4x4 and putting the whole thing in concrete. Much more sturdy.

Well built and sturdy. Wasn't what I could use on product and returned. Not it's fault. But it is heavy & thick.

support a 12 x 10 ft deck. Worked perfect, hammered into gravel, and studs attached, then top boards also drilled into studs.

Nice and tight on the 4x4, good reach on the rebar pin, and solid powder coat.

Bought these for my 4x4 deck posts to avoid ground contact. Read the reviews and noticed that a few people mentioned they were weak by themselves or with limited support, but I went with them anyway.I mounted 12 of these total for deck posts and deck support in a 24” concrete form and let dry for about a week and a half (probably overkill but I wasn’t in a rush). I mounted them in alternating directions because of what people mentioned about swaying and them being ‘loose’ in An effort to avoid any issues. When I put the 4x4 posts in by themselves, there is a very noticeable wobble and they are not sturdy, despite the bad plate sitting on top on the concrete. Once I was able to get the supports joists on, the wobble was eliminated.I’m still putting things together, but In my opinion, if used, alternate the way these face for every other post, as one way is weaker than the other, and make sure your supporting member has more than one screw, bolt, or fastener to help stabilize.

Works well, easy to install, not very Sturdiness. the post moves while open/close the mail box. Hope this lasts long. So potentially change the post after years will easier too.

Bought two of these for a swing set structure. Initially had the screw in ground stacks but two of those broke due to my kids being bigger and swinging harder. So decided to buy two of these. Installation went well, bolted and screwed the piece onto the 4x4 post. Then poured concrete in hole. The structure does not wiggle like it used. Kids have been swinging about a month and seems to be working great.

If I could have given less than a one star rating I would have as I won’t be using this ground stake. I don’t know how it passed quality control. The spike is on the bottom is off by about 10* and one of the flaps on top of U is bent as well. It would be quite a fight to try and level this in cement. I could have gone to local Lowe’s or Home Depot but thought I’d order prime shipped to door next day to save trip. I won’t order sight unseen anymore. Disappointed
