I have had an iPad mini for years and it is very hard to find a case that I like. This one is sturdy, attractive and the keyboard lights up. It is easy to turn lit keyboard on and off. The company even has a little cheat sheet below the keyboard. It has a long battery life. I don't have to recharge it for several weeks. The top rotates . It will hold a stylus. The only thing that takes a little time to adjust to is using a comma or quote marks (fn +o or p). It has a mouse, which I rarely use, but it does not take away too much space for the keyboard . I have used it for 3 notes now and I am very satisfied.

I love this keyboard! It is easy to use and works very well with my iPad mini. The keyboard is backlit and very responsive. It was easy to get it connected to my iPad. It also holds the iPad firmly and it is sturdy. You can charge either the keyboard or iPad as you use them both. I think it’s a good value for what I paid for it.

This thing is incredible! WELL WORTH THE MONEY!My wife has stage 4 cancer and I’m a Real Estate Agent. I have to work when I’m at the hospital, I can’t get away from it. Having my iPad mini in this case is the best thing ever. It makes the iPad a MINI COMPUTER!! People compliment me all the time. It fits in my pouch. It’s light. I can use the iPad as an iPad, or use it like a computer even with a TRACKPAD/MOUSE! It’s incredible. Seriously the best thing I ever bought

It’s a great device, but I mean the keyboard works good. The trackpad is decent for the price. It’s nothing like the pro keyboard, but I’m just saying it’s pretty decent, but the problem is is nothing stays together out all the things that make it. I don’t know all that stuff is barely even glued onto there so like it comes off very quickly cause I was carrying mine around in the bag and I’d pull it out. I would notice another piece of the, there’s like four of them on the outside of it anyways they all four of them slowly started coming off because you don’t really pull very hard on one of them. They’re just barely glued on there. I doubt they stopped along time ago when. I got a pro. The iPad mini is just a it’s still my favorite iPad, but I’m usually not using the iPad mini now. The case was great for the first month. I put it like that after that it was constant problems. What’s it called? Oh yeah, the backpart where the cameras supposed to have covering of some sort that part cracked just by barely messing around, pulling the iPad in and out of the case so once that part cracked back, there is like I don’t know. I started wondering. The iPad Pro I’m with Apple cases now. Problems with the Magic Keyboard I compare it to the Magic Keyboard because I don’t have anything else to compare it to and I don’t think they’re even in the same boat or anything like they’re so different that you can’t compare them the magic keyboard is about as good as a MacBook on the iPad It’s been a while since I’ve used it, but the trackpad is very different. The Magic Keyboard is unbeatable. I could never go back to this small keyboard. I just use my iPad mini in a see through case these day.I did this review by talk to Text and I did not go back to look and see if it was auto correct. Sorry if it’s messed up.—-KP

If you have already set the mindset for additional bulk and weight, this case does not disappoint. Easy to twist the screen to whatever orientation and the touchpad is decent. Overall it is still compact with the iPad mini. The keyboard mirrors that of the more expensive version from Snugg. I suspect that they are from the same oem manufacturer. The clip on version feels more secure than other magnetic magic keyboard type.

I almost never write reviews, but I know there are other iPad mini users out there who, like me, enjoy using their tablets as mini-laptops and have been waiting for an option with a trackpad. I hope this information will be useful to some of you.In short: this case will turn your iPad mini 6 into an honest-to-goodness mini-laptop with a keyboard and trackpad. There are some notable compromises to make this work, but overall I like it.The keyboard layout is kinda funky, which is to be expected - every small-sized keyboard needs to adjust its layout to fit in the available space. The most troublesome changes for me on this device are that the keyboard puts the ? on the bottom row next to the space bar, and the ‘ and the “ characters require holding down the “Fn“ modifier key. The keys are smaller and more closely spaced compared to the Zagg Folio for the iPad mini 4. Key travel is good and clicky without being loud. The Zagg has an additional row for the function keys rather than sharing them with the numbers, but this keyboard uses that extra space for the trackpad. Granted, this keyboard must contend with the smaller height of the mini 6 which means less keyboard width, but I would have preferred more narrow Shift, Enter, and Caps Lock keys if it meant the ? and ‘/“ keys stayed in their normal position, like on the Zagg. The keyboard backlight is really nice. It’s super bright - much brighter than the Zagg, and it has a longer timeout. The backlight brightness toggle gets a dedicated key next to ?. It seems like that function could have been moved to a “Fn + something” key combo and made room for a wider space bar, or better yet a dedicated ‘ and “ key.Quibbles aside, the keyboard is fine. I can adjust to the modifiers and positions, and autocorrect helps with the typos due to the key size. The trackpad works pretty well! It opens up all of the trackpad functionality of iPadOS, making it feel much more like a regular computer. Using it with a remote desktop is awesome! The finger tracking is smooth, and the pad area is adequately large. It works with tap-to-click, two finger tap to right-click, and has a mechanical clicking function too. Two finger scrolling works, but it’s really sensitive and hard to be precise. I’ve found selecting text to be challenging too.The case adds a fair bit of weight and thickness, but it doesn’t feel excessive. The outside is covered in a rubbery matte black material, which I really like. Closing the case will put the iPad to sleep. The hinge is super, super tight. I’ve had to be careful opening it up because I’m worried the keyboard/trackpad half will flex. I’m hoping it loosens up a bit with use. On the upside, the hinge will hold the iPad reliably at any angle, which makes typing more comfortable. It is top-heavy, so tilting too far back will make it flop over, but the keyboard will hold its angle!Being able to rotate the iPad portion of the case around like many tablet/laptop combos is really great for watching videos. It’s also nice to not have to remove the iPad from the case to use it in a more normal tablet form.IT CHARGES USING USB-C! I assumed that it would use micro-USB, and maybe I missed it in the product description, but I’m really surprised and thankful the designers chose to use the modern standard instead. The USB-C connector is right next to the iPad’s USB-C port, so it’s trivial to move your cord from one to the other if they both need a charge. I haven’t been able to find the case battery level anywhere in the OS, and there doesn’t seem to be a way to check it on the device. At the moment, this is the only rigid iPad mini 6 case on Amazon with a keyboard and trackpad. It will be interesting to see if the established case makers like Zagg and Logitech (or Apple!) choose to create their own iPad mini 6 keyboards and trackpads, and if they are able to work through the size challenges. Until then, if you’re interested in using your iPad as a mini-laptop, this is your option.Personally, I really like it. I expected to see trackpad/keyboard combo cases at some point, but things like the flipping hinge and the USB-C charging are thoughtful inclusions. I think it shows that the manufacturer didn’t choose to build the cheapest case possible, and the whole package is better for it. It’s like having a modern netbook, but with all the speed and conveniences of an iPad.
