If you spend $500 or more on a red dot this little piece of sheet steel should've been included.

With the price of Trijicon, I'm BLOWN AWAY that they don't just toss this in with the optic when you buy it. Absolutely ridiculous you have to buy it separately. But it does work and it fits nicely. Just really annoyed it doesn't come with the item.

It's an Official Trijicon RMR Accessory. What else can I say. Works exactly like how it was design to. No question needed to be ask. Just buy it and help prolong your $500 reflex sight. What I dislike about this sealing plate is like any other user will be, Trijicon should just include this with all there reflex sight as you are paying premium price for there sights but they don't so pay a few more dollars to better secure your $500 sight and you can thank me later.

This Trijicon RMR Sealing Plate works perfect. I do not understand why so many people here complain about this plate. It fits perfect, Lined up with holes 🕳 Excellent. Fit my Type 2 RMR and in my JagerWerkz Milled Slide like a Glove 🧤 put one small drop of Ballistol on each side of the plate wiped it down to help or aid in any corrosion issues which there will not be any with this process. It does what it’s suppose to do fits the entire parameter of the RMR and gives it a perfect seal with the the sight. Do Not listen to what some of these reviews are saying. And it is a Authentic Trijicon Product, it is a 100% Factory Trijicon Product. You will not be disappointed in your Purchase.

I have not submerged my G19 MOS with RMR under water to truly test this but I went with Trijicon branded so as to avoid any warranty issues if it ever becomes a problem. The description does not clarify, but mine did come with the longer mounting screws to fit a Glock MOS plate. My biggest qualm is that this has to be purchased at all and does not come with the $450++ Trijicon RMR. I understand that their are numerous platforms for the RMR, however I rarely see the RMR as the primary optic on a rifle and Glock MOS is arguably the most prolific optic ready handgun available. I also understand the there has been problems with the Glock mounting plates and will likely replace the stock plate with an after market one from CHPWS in the near future.

The plate is well made from what appears to be spring steel. Fit and function was great. I purchased the plate to solve the battery contact issue with a type 1 rmr. Unfortunately I needed to add a small piece of electrical tape to the bottom of the battery to keep the dot from flickering due to the battery losing contact. Not the fault of the sealing plate at all. After adding the plate and piece of electrical tape the problem was solved.

Couldn't decide if I needed these or not since there is conflicting advice so ordered two! Finally found the Trijicon web site page that described whether you do or not. It is under the Q and A for RMR's. Long story short if your mount set up (Glock for instance) leaves the bottom of the RMR exposed so it will not seal around the edges you need it. If your mount has groves, holes or channels that do not allow the bottom of the RMR to seal you will need it. A quick view of the Trijicon RMR mounts shows some come with the plate others do not. All that come with the plate do not allow the RMR bottom to completely seal hence the need for this plate. For those that say it helps keep the battery in place for battery models I do not know as I am running the Dual Illumination RMR. Trijicon rail mounts all sizes have a solid surface to mount the RMR on so as a general rule do not need it based on what Trijicon is saying. I have a Glock that already has the plate and my other mounts are rail mounts so the two I ordered will go in the "spares" box. Hope that helps someone.
