To say that some assembly is required would be an understatement. But. that is what allows these to be customizable in regards to height and easy to store when not needed. They arrived intact and professionally packaged. Assembly is very easy. The bases each have an opening where they can be filled (weighed down) with water or sand. Overall, these make great crowd control devices when amongst peaceful individuals.
