Cheap whip broke in a couple of days and you cant do an overhead crack with it. Maybe two cracks you can do with this whip save your money and get a 300 dollar whip that is the price for a decent whip.The nail that was holding it all together popped out as you can see in the photo.The whip is also way to light to crack it in any other way.

I bought this for my son that enjoys practicing cracking a whip. We did managed to fix it temporarily but it’s only a matter of time before it will be beyond repair. We were not too impressed with this whip. The handle came loose after a couple of days. I suggest spending a little more and getting a better quality whip.

This product is poorly built using cheapest nastiest materials the handle was loose on arrival and only just cracks the only help I can give others buy one else whereIf you have bought one remove the cracker and replace with a thinner one and soak the whip excluding the handle in neets foot oil over night then hang for several days over a large container to drain off then remove any excess with dry kitchen rollThe whip will now work betterHope this helps those who have bought one

I really like this bullwhip. It needs to break in some more for a high pitch crack but it scares off coyotes, as it is. It is much better quality than I expected. It also was delivered quickly, which was a great thing since the coyotes out here, in the desert, are getting bolder all at once. Stupid, well meaning people, who are only here in winter, feed these predatory creatures and they get way too bold because of it. Now, I have a way of scaring them off without shooting at them. I had a many years ago so I know how to use one correctly, but I do have to practice as this one is stiff and I like them more limber. I do think i need to make the nice wooden handle shorter for me as I'm 5 '4" and the length hinders the cracking action. Overall i am more than happy. Very good product, especially for the price. But then, I have always gotten quality products from the Tough 1 brand.

Good whip for price, defiantly a bargain. Had to replace cracker with homade dyneema cracker but she is a mint item.

Within three days the end of the whip was warn and began to unravel. I had previous whips for years before encountering the condition this whip showed in those three days.
