You can hear the rattling of the tinsmith as he rolls his cart along the cobbles, and as the clinking of his wares fade in the distance, you hear the creaking of the pub's sign lollygagging in the wind. Could there be some mystical forces implying it's time for some lube? Indeed. So you step in the pub and park yourself at the bar, where the publican slides you a frothy pint of this alluring, tawny elixir promising a smooth flow down that squeaking hatch. And lube it does, with its warming 7% alcohol framing a bountiful body of luscious malt character so appropriately infused with caramel, toffee and just a wink of rum. Yes, and as you swirl that pint and admire the fine, floral and spicy hops tickling your nose, you'll think—damn! This is one fine, classic English strong ale to quench the palate and lubricate the soul!

I will start by saying i am no expert at brewing. I do have a love for everything that surrounds it however. Just opening this box i was impressed with the complete attention to detail that this seller has. I plan on brewing the kit tomorrow morning so i will update on the detail of the instructions if I am able to do so. Opening the box i was worried if any yeast was included because i never checked. Included was a packet of danstar Nottingham yeast. Also known at my local store as the cure for kits that come with "cheap foil packs". Its the first recommendation for folks who are not seeing results from kits bought by the usual mail order companies. Everything was in the box as needed on the instructions even with a post-it note reminding me to check everything first. Scanning though the instructions it seems as if they tried to break the monotony with clever jokes that i found entertaining, and corny. One small detail that makes me very appreciative is the fact that they took the time to add simple and, probably at not much cost to them, beer bottle cap labels. This simple effort has locked me to return to look at more of their other kits. I already have about 12 in a wishlist on here.Again i stress i am not a guy who enters anything onto competition. I am someone who has always loved the science and artistry that can come from brewing. I work a full time job and do the normal run kids to practices (rodeo sports). So when i get two seconds to catch my breath and maybe sneak away to enjoy my hobbies something at this price point that has everything i need i am thankful for.

I liked everything about it, but it is priced a little high compared to some other brew kits from other companies. All in all the beer is quite tasty! I also liked the fact they included little bottle stickers to help you keep track of what it is (for those of us who brew multiple batches).
