Thermal Coffee Carafe by PYKALhello,we have owned plenty of coffee carafe servers. some worked well, others, well, that is why we kept purchasing different ones. some stayed warm until 11 am (starting from 4 am) but, most got warm to cold in several hours.this pykal unit is the best so far. the seal is tight, so no heat escapes. the metal container keeps the coffee hot until 11 am easily. by 2 pm, the coffee is starting to get warm. so, for 10 hours, the coffee is hot enough to still enjoy the morning cook.it must be the outside steel and the excellent sealing cap. no neat is lost for the first several hours of use and it goes for more hours. it is nice to be able to have an afternoon hot coffee if one desires.thanks for a great product. if something happens to this shiny chrome server, we will buy another one. there is no other one on the market that fits all types of decor and keeps the coffee hot.

Sorry, this was disappointing, I understand that you should preheat it by putting hot water in it first, it didn’t do the job. My guests were asking me to heat up their coffee. Very embarrassing for me, I served an expensive coffee, which guests didn’t enjoy because it was cold. It is also difficult to clean. Not convenient at all. Would not recommend.

Nice looking design. Keeps coffee and tea hot for hours. Have to wipe a drip from the spout every time it is used or it drips down the side leaving a nearly permanent stain if not clean up right away. Not sure what it is about this design that causes this flaw. I have similar spouts on coffee maker carafes, but they do not drip.

Lieferung wie immer super..-Kanne sehr schön aber unbrauchbar! Nach dem aufbrühen wird der Metallhenkel so heiß, das man ihn nicht mehr berühren kann! 😭

The product is well built and look beautiful. The lid is perfectly fit and easy to open and close. It keeps boiling water hot for more than 12 hours and still very warm for 18 hours. I like it.

I’m a tea not a coffee drinker, so it’s just hot water that stays in my carafe for a cuppa. It works beautifully and water stays nice and hot for hours on end. Great energy saver not having to boil water again and again throughout the day. Am very impressed with its performance for a relatively inexpensive product. Highly recommended!

I am very pleased with the carafe. It's purpose is to preserve the temperature of the liquids inside. It does so. When filled with coffee from the morning brew cycle, the coffee does get cooler over time, but the freshness is preserved. I have never found a replacement for my old style glass lined bottle style metal encased thermal bottle, but I've broken hundreds! dropping banging and otherwise mishandling them.. This is so much more convenient than a top that needs to be unscrewed and then a plug unscrewed. If I bother to preheat the carafe I do so with hot tap water and dump just before I fill it. I have found the exterior remains cool to the touch, The top assembly with the stopper and pour spout is the only part of the carafe that seems to be the source of heat loss. This part is not double walled, but at normal fill levels the liguid inside is seldom this high. An air gap will remain between the contents and the lid, and so conduct less heat from the liguid to the non-walled stopper and handle. Could it be designed or made better? Not at a price I could afford! The push release is effective and it does occasionally "POP" when the internal pressure builds up a hot air cushion inside the carafe. If you open the stopper before tilting the carafe to pour, just noise and no splatter. If you pour with the same caution you use for other dispenser devices, no spills. I am very happy with this purchase and will consider another for my summer home. In use it is very functional and looks good.
