If you use only this bracelet bender you'll end up with a giant circle. But it offers a great starting point before throwing it on a bracelet mandrel to finish the curve precisely in an oval shape.

I like these but they are definitely best for thinner gauge metals. I do like them to use to give shape to earrings as well. They definitely have a place in my tool box, but for a more professional curve in your bracelets, it would be best to go for the higher end tools.
