The recoil I got want not the one in the picture. It doesn't even seem to be tecumseh brand. Had no sticker on it and no recoil handle. Just the string with a knot in it. Looks like a cheap aftermarket part .

A perfect direct replacement. The pull cord is actually more durable than stock. Bought our snowblower almost 14 years ago and will now serve us for years to come!

This product was listed as direct replacement but was too short to stretch all the way to the handle like it should. There was a cord guide was too large to fit thru the plastic engine cover. I had to remove th cord guide and just leave the pull handle down at the engine and bend over to start it instead of the way it was intended. It works but was not direct replacement.
