The lid simply does not stay on. I've tried squishing the little nubs down so the lid will fit more tightly, but it just doesn't work. Within a use or two, the lid is loose again. I'm not able to use this for tea because a quick pour of water from the kettle over the infuser knocks the lid off. Forget using it for seeping spices in a soup or broth that must be stirred.I like the little spoon and use it daily to measure out my loose leaf tea into a different infuser - one that twists on with several turns, like a lidded jar.

I bought these tea infusers because I had just taken possession of an heirloom teapot with no built-in infuser basket, and the tea balls I had wouldn't have worked for it. Wishstream's infusers hold a surprising amount of whatever loose material you're using and don't leak much if at all, even tiny bits of crushed peppermint leaf. (I use homemade and commercial blends involving everything from pieces of ginger root to bits of raw cacao to dried flowers to crushed leaves to whole cloves.) As long as you make sure the top is locked in place, your loose tea isn't going anywhere, but its flavor sure is! The infuser's holes have no problem letting enough water flow through to accomplish its purpose. The drip tray is just a great little bonus - no more wondering where to put a hot, wet infuser when your tea reaches the desired strength. Both the infuser itself and the drip tray are reasonably easy to clean as these things go. The spoon is just a typical tea scooping spoon.

My wife loves the size and look. However the top locking lid needs improvement!!! It has a very shallow, short locking area to lock the two together. And it does not stay “closed”/locked together very well. She might just change to something else that locks better.

These work amazingly well. The chain clasp actually connects to something on my cup, so I find that incredibly useful. If I used a different cup, I am sure I could connect and number of things to keep it in place.I did have the lid come off a few times because the "lock" is not much of one. I was able to tighten up the tabs so the lid secures better and have had no incidents since.They rinse easily with running water.

Story: I had used the same infuser for years, then it finally gave up. I tried a few others which either didn't work or didn't last. I had just purchased another infuser which wasn't as fine as described. I ordered the Wishstream as I liked the look of it. And it is great! Just what I wanted, and holds my fine tea perfectly. The design looks like it will last for some time, which I prefer as I don't believe that kitchen items should be disposable but instead long lasting.

I gave these a wash and used them right away and I'm very pleased. The holes are small enough I don't have a ton of tea bits floating loose, but large enough that it steeps well. The finish is nice, it's easy to open and close, and closes securely. The little saucer is a nice touch. This is based on initial use, hopefully it stands up to wear, because so far I really like these.

I really love the design and how good the tea is and fast it brews. The string is log but I don’t normally keep it in the tea even though it’s cute. The spoon was a bonus. All to me seem sturdy, do not feel cheap or look like they would rust in by touch. :) I’ve used it every day for about 3 weeks and continue with no issues nor rust.

Strainers have a nice flat bottom so they sit at the bottom of a cup evenly. They are heavy and sink well. The twist lock works great and I have not had any stray leaves in my cup. Included trays for setting the used strainer on are deep enough so that it there is no overflow onto the counter. Nice quality and it’s great to have two at this price.
