Not junk. But not nearly what I expected for the price and brand

It's an OK guitar stand. I bought this one for my new Taylor guitar and to be honest, I am not thrilled with it. It doesn't sit level, and there are no adjustments to speak of. It holds the guitar fine, but the price I would at least expect it to be level. Other than that, if you want a stand with the Taylor name on it, it works well enough. If you are expecting it to be as well put together as a Taylor guitar, you aren't going to get that level of quality.

Wanted a guitar stand for my music room that could safely hold my Taylor guitars. I keep my guitars in their cases, but on those occasions when I'm working on a song and I want to leave the room for a cup of coffee and return. I needed something that I could quickly set the guitar in without worrying about scratches, or an unstable platform and a stand that could easily move from room to room. I wasn't looking for or expecting a stand that could handle a dog rough housing in the room, just a simple peace of mind guitar stand. The Taylor stands are expensive but the pictures looked nice, Taylor typically makes a solid product so I decided to try one out. What I got was a stand that was much lighter weight than I expected, cheaper in appearance, feel, and set up. Some minor assembly is necessary but the pre drilled screw holes were at an off angle and not deep enough, not a deal breaker just annoying, grabbed a drill and followed the predrilled holes. When set up I set my 6 string acoustic guitar in it and it just felt light and unstable, the padded contact friction points are limited and if not set in the stand correctly the front bottom of the guitar risked scratching from bottom rails of the stand that protrude upward to prevent the guitar from sliding forward, no padding. It was not suitable for my 6 string and I frequently work with a 12 string, that this stand would not fit. One of the rare times I've returned a product not because it was damaged but because it was not designed and built to accomplish its specifications.
