Really sturdy bookcase! My room is small so I needed to get creative with space and wanted to fit a bookcase in the closet underneath the hanging clothes. Perfect fit! The screws with the plastic bits took me an embarrassingly long time to figure out but it still wasn't that bad. The instructions also could be better but, it wasn't that hard to figure out for someone who assembles a lot of these DIY assemblies.

I read some of the other reviews and I was concerned this wouldn’t be a good shelf. I’m hoping my review will help someone. First of all these wonderful screws that have the white plastic screwed on the end took me awhile to figure out the best way to install them. Please refer to my included photos. Unscrew the little white thing off of the end. Place the white thing in the correct hole then place the screw and screw it in. It will allow your shelf to lay correctly when putting it together. Also the round metal things that locks it in can be confusing if you don’t know how to install them. Make sure the little arrow is pointing towards the hole. I promise you it will make putting it together go more smoothly and you’ll have less frustration. I believe the shelf is worth the money. It’s sturdy if put together correctly and definitely will serve its purpose.

Turned out to be a little smaller than I'd hoped. The taller shelves are not tall enough to hold binders or larger books. But it holds a lot of books! Sturdier than I ex8eveted, and reasonable quality. Doesn't look cheap or flimsy. I had a little trouble getting started on the assembly. The diagrams are not as helpful as they could be. But I eventually figured it out. I'm pleased with the purchase

I was not sure what to expect from the shelf, but I was very pleasantly surprised. First of all, it arrived earlier than expected! It is nicely made, has a quality finish and it’s just the perfect size for what I needed. Very sturdy. Backing is nice and rigid unlike cheaper pieces I’ve purchased.. Easy for one person to build and move. Bought the white one and trimmed it with some gold tape to match some other pieces In my child’s room. Perfect for a holding all the board and card games.Instructions were not the greatest, and several pieces had no stickers designating their letter, but if you’ve ever built this type of stuff before, it’s pretty self-explanatory.

Although the shelf is a bit wobbly and time consuming to put together, it is overall a great price, good quality, and holds a great amount of stuff. I really like this and it fits perfectly under my counter and adds the extra space I needed in my small apartment.

Spent an entire afternoon attempting to assemble this. Three different times. I walked away from it, took a break, and tried and tried again. You have to use your intuition because the instructions are a joke and extremely inacurrate.I've assembled furniture like this for decades. I know it's "you get what you pay for" and the quality is what it is. But this was nigh impossible to put together. The anchors don't fit in the predrilled holes. You try to make adjustments and the thing just falls apart. Spend the extra money and get real furniture.

Ordered this bookshelf for our living room to help keep our toddlers books off the floor. It was smaller than I expected, but it fits perfectly in the area. Plenty of room to store all of the books and toys. Very easy to assemble and quality seems to be very good.

If you accidently order two they will not send you an appropriate label to mail it back. The cost to ship costs almost as much as the shelf itself. NOT WORTH IT.The shelf itself is flimsy and not sturdy at all.

This came well packed, in perfect condition. The directions are okay. Getting the base pieces and the end pieces to tighten up and feel sturdy is difficult. This unit looks great put together, but if you move it, the end pieces separate a 1/4" from the rest of the unit. I will take it apart after the holidays and glue/clamp those into place. This is being used in a playroom and has to be sturdy enough not to worry if the 2 year old crawls onto a shelf. I seriously considered taking it all back apart and repacking it to return it.

The wood finish is a clean modern design. We chose grey. Very sturdy, I use it in the office behind my desk to house our printer, binders and paper along with books. Lots of room and the height for a printer is perfect.

Went together reasonably quickly, instructions were mostly clear. Part stickers do not come off without leaving residue, and it was necessary to strongarm the sides on a bit. Also I had extra parts (connectors) at the end, causing me to question my work (took it apart to count parts and rebuilt it. Would be nice to indicate there are extras.
