Lens was super good and came exactly as expected with extra gear included. The backpack is extreme flimsy but I didn't get it for the bag so I didn't care. I do wish I went with a wider lens like 15 instead but this should do great for normal wide lens activity. I sometimes have to get huge group pics of around 100 people which is why I want wider but for a regular person this would be great!

Bought this for my ZV-E1 after my business hit a record month in sales halfway through June. Works like an absolute charm, couldn't have been happier. Great quality photo + video, no damage to box or lens, no scuffs or scrapes 100% perfect condition. Great for YouTube + long and short form content.I now can set this thing up on a tripod 2 feet away from my face and the 17mm does its work.Greatly satisfied.

This lense is good for vlogging and the image is sharp but its heavy.

I really like this lens! Not sure if I love it, as I wish there was just a bit more reach with it, but I knew that when buying. Hard to realize that until you try it though.The focusing is super fast and pretty accurate. There’s a bit of distortion at the wide end, but nothing you can’t fix in post.The extras are not super worth it. Mostly junk. Wish they’d do away with the unneeded backpack and various contraptions and just throw in a nice SD card or filter set.

This lens if absolutely perfect for you if you are a YouTuber/Vlogger and have a Sony Alpha 7 series. This is a fast and full frame lens. The quality is crisp and the sony native auto-focus functions operate fast and superbly. Let me just say that the auto focus speed is very fast and is comparable to the Sony GMaster wide angle equivalent (but for less than half the price). Yes this lens is comparable to the Sony GMaster 16-35mm 2.8 lense which costs $2198 on Amazon). This lens is no slouch and provides Professional quality output. The Photo and video it outputs is freekin crisp and the bokeh at 2.8 is creamy and professional. The build quiality is some sort of light weight plastic (looks good and doesnt suck) , the rings feel great, smooth and comfy to the touch and the lens is lightweight . Yes this lense can be used on a Gimball such as the Ronin SC without any balaning issues due to weigh. Bottom line is this a fantastic , crispy, professional, light weight, fast focusing , great for professional pics and videos (at this focal length) , lens. If you have a Sony Alpha Series camera (A7ii , a7ii, a7riii, ect..) and need a vlogging/youtubing/landscaping/street photography/ect. lense that utilizes all your full frame Sony's native funtions... yup this is it. Great Budget priced lens with great freeking quality. Get this now... and no this wasnt a paid post.. I spent my own money on this bad boy. I am very pleased with this lens.

This lens is better than the Sony equivalent because:- Lighter- Smaller- Cheaper- 99% identical in image qualityThis line of Tamron lenses are at the perfect level of value when it comes to price vs quality. Whether you're a newbie or a 10-year pro, I would recommend you grab these over the Sony lenses. The fact that they are so much smaller and lighter makes using them much more fun.

Tamron’s been knocking it out of the park with their new FE lenses. I replaced my 16-35mm f4 with this.Build: despite being plastic, it scuffs less easily than my metal 16-35. The plastic is thick and high quality. The 67mm filter size is really nice and compact.IQ: very sharp in the centers, alright in the fringes. Stepping down does give an improvement. No IQ complaints here.Somehow Tamron is making their f2.8 lenses lighter than Sony’s f4 lenses— perfect for travelling with a full frame.
