Purchased this as a gift originally from another vendor. Was double the price for the same product, and was notified at the last minute that it was no longer available. I was happy to find this exact item for half the price and it arrived quickly in time for the holidays. Great quality and was a huge hit.

Sword is looks great. There are a few areas where the grinder bit into the spine and on the sides but it's a $35.00 prop sword, so.... The handle pieces are not centered, likely made and finished before getting put on the word. This makes it feel weird and needs to be redone by end user. The sheath rivets are starting to pop off. The snap the holds the handle in place is too small and will not close. You get the quality you pay for so not surprised with fit and finish issues. Would buy it again.

Considering the price, it isn't too bad, but it's not finished well at all. Chrome on the handle was already flaking off by the time it got here. A number of dents in the sword, and it almost looked like there were burn marks on it. I'd say it's good for a wall decoration to be viewed from across the room, but it's not something made for holding

This is a great product, for those of you who love history, Martial Arts, & are weapons collectors. This is the authentic (in style & shape) "Scimitar" Sword, that was in fashion from Persia, to the Arabian Peninsula🇸🇦, to the Barbary Coast of North Africa (Morocco🇲🇦, Algiers🇩🇿, Tunis🇹🇳 & Tripoli🇱🇾), from the time of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH), throughout the "Golden Age of Islam", including "Al-Andalus" in the Iberian Peninsula (Spain & Portugal); thus made popular by the MOORS🇲🇦, aka the Moabites, Canaanites, Phoenicians & Cathagenians, in their propagation of the Old Time Religion, aka "Millatul Ibrahim".☪️🕋🕌Technically, the term "Scimitar", is a BROAD term, that refers to the family of swords that are curved, & Oriental/"Middle-Eastern", in origin.More accurately, it is referred to as a "Shamshir", which is Persian, for "Lion's Tail"🦁.The Secret Societies will tell you, that its symbolism refers to one holding the reserved "right-to-kill", an instrument of DEATH🏴☠️, executions & castrations of all Infidels, after Holy Day prayers, with a shout of "*******-*****", and sending the Soul to its Maker, & the body back to Earth. This Sword is an emblem of J******, & was used by the Original Man, during Mohamned's time, taking off the heads of 4 Devils at a time, for a great reward . . .All great & legendary swords of Warriors, had a NAME.It does NOT come pre-Sharpened. It came with a rubber tip guard, a blade sheath, & in secure bubble wrappaping & packaging, on time, in great condition, for a great price ! The wooden barrel is 2-toned, red & black ! There is NO engraving on the actual blade.

This is a cool looking sword that would be great for a costume, display or light use. I don’t believe this would stand up well to moderate or heavy use. For the price this is a fantastic sword.

I liked them so much I purchased 2. They look well made and I have them as decoration but people were surprised when they asked me where I got them. I said Amazon, I guess they thought I bought them abroad since I travel so much.

These swords are awesome! They are pretty thick metal and very heavy. I had to return them because they were too heavy for what I needed them for (choreography in a dance number) but honestly if they were for anything else I'd say these are the best props swords I've seen in a long time. I am super sad I had to return them but wanted to leave this review because that's how awesome I think they are!
