I purchased the medium for my 14 lb shih Tzu Yorkie mix. She's use to a smaller bowl.When she ate from her old bowl She would eat what was in the center of her bowl and leave the food that was on the bottom edges until I would push the food from the edges to the center. Then she would eat the rest leaving behind anything that had worked it's way to the edges again. I figured this bowl had no edges so she would eat it all. I was wrong. It's been about 10 or more days and she won't eat out of it. It's a heavy bowl. I have to be careful when picking it up because there's no grip and the weight makes it easier to drop. The pink is bright and pretty. It was a waste of my money but that's not the products fault it's my dogs fault. It looks alot bigger then she is used to because the bottom inside, underneath the bowl is hollow. As a result although the bowl only holds 18 oz as a whole it is larger in size width and hieght then what she is used to. Her old bowl held 12 oz of water. The picture show both 12 oz old and 18 oz new bowls. Maybe that's the problem. She might not like the saize or the change from a bowl she has used her wntire 9 years of life.It's pretty but I didn't like it as much as I thought I would amd took up more room then I am used to.

This was the perfect size for my dogs food portion. And ceramic so very easy to clean. Also it has a notch on the bottom so the water drains when in the dishwasher, that was a nice unexpected feature.

These little dishes are perfect. Good sizes and great stability. I have bought 4 for pug puppies. They are still serviceable into adulthood. An English friend was about to buy almost identical Le Creuset dog dishes at 3X the price. Once she saw mine she loved them. Guess what her two dogs got for Christmas from me? Good sturdy dishes, easy to keep clean, lovely color choices all at a great price point. What’s not to like?

I like everything about this dog dish. It doesn’t tip over. My veteranian recommended a ceramic dish over a plastic one because my dog has allergies. He said plastic bowls break down over time and can cause allergic reactions. My dog dishes have been switched over to ceramic and there’s been a notable decrease in the dog’s paw chewing. A bonus is that the bowl is a beautiful color and has no imperfections. Recommend buying.

My dog, a corgi, is a bowl flipper.He can't do that with this bowl. This one also has just right color tone to go with a vintage dog water bowl that has lasted forever.There is a really great feature under the bowl that allows water to drain from the lip of the pottery edge. I hadn't noticed it until I was giving the bowl a good scrub down. So smart!Anyway. This will defy the bowl flippers. I think it was my dog's favorite playtime activity all that food flying everywhere, but no longer. :)I recommend any of the silicone food mats like I have here because it really helps keep the area clean. If you've got ceramic tile it stops those dogs who also slide the bowl.

Great bowl. Microwaveable. Concave interior to make it easy for pup to get all the contents. Bought medium bowl as compromise for our 13 and 22 lb dogs. Lovely light blue color. Dishwasher proof.

I ordered this ceramic blue bowl because I didn't want my little guy drinking from a metal bowl since I was worried his water would taste metalic. (Yes, Elmo is very spoiled). I have also read that dogs can see blue and yellow. This blue bowl is beautiful, and works so well. I actually find Elmo is drinking a lot more. I am not sure if this is because of the bowl, but I seriously find myself constantly adding more water. It was a bit pricey, but the color is truly stunning. It'a a nice addition to his eating area.
