This is a good quality adapter. It mates well with the cables, and just to make sure we used electrical tape around each end of the connections to ensure the cables don't come unplugged if the whole thing gets tugged on accidentally. The connections are working just fine for our older video equipment that we moved across the room, therefore needing to extend the cables.

Have you ever needed an S-Video female to female adapter?! If you answered yes, then I've got some great news for you!!! This does the job. And that's about all. It aint sexy folks, but if you're in need of some old tech, and are piecing together all kinds of video adapters, this might be essential. And like I said, it works just fine.

I gave it 2 stars because it actually transmitted the Y signal, it would not transmit C though. Tested with multiple cables/sources and it is definitely this coupler.

These adapters provide necessary "glue" to put my system together. Of three ordered, one arrived with a minor housing crack - still very useable, that's why I deducted a star - but otherwise no problems.

it works well would have saved on postage if the brick and morter stores carried this item.Still cheaper than a switch box.
