This wrench is small, so it fits in your pocket while skating, but it’s not very good for skates with a click nut. Because of it being short, it’s hard to get leverage to turn the nut. And, the barrel of the wrench can hit the wheels.

I’ve purchased two of these now and both have came broken- I returned the first.the wrench in the center isn’t welded in spot so it rattles around- both had sharp pieces of flashing left on them and they’re made of very cheap mailable metal that doesn’t feel like it’ll last long. I bought this as the tool for my suregrip 1300 skates and the flat head is too short on the toe stops. I feel like for the money- it could be much better than this. I really wanted a reliable tool for my skates to carry with them for adjustments. I didn’t really want to carry the separate wrench, driver and sockets.

This is a convenient skate tool. Small and easy to keep in my skate bag or even in my pocket (women's sized pockets!!). Happy Skate is a great seller, they ship quickly and they're reliable.Know which sizes of tools you need before ordering. This is intended to work best with plates that have traditional kingpins like the Suregrip Century and Classic plates (most plates now days have reverse kingpins). The sockets will work with most non metric plates. The sockets are 1/2 inch for the axle nuts and 9/16 inch for the kingpin lock nuts. The open ended wrench is 11/16 inches and will not work for adjustable toe stop nuts ( for those you usually need a 15/16 inches wrench). The open ended 11/16 inch wrench on this tool is meant for the kingpin Jam nut on traditional plates like those mentioned above (it will also work for kingpin nuts that are 11/16 inch but those are not very common). Also, the side that looks like a flat head screw driver will not be long enough for many bolt-on / non adjustable toe stops.So regardless of which type of plates you have this tool will not adjust your toe stops. You'll need to get the appropriate sized wrench or allen key for that.Hope this info is helpful and clarifies what this tool is and isn't capable of since I saw reviews or people saying it didn't fit this or that on their plates (parts this tool was not intended to adjust).

Love this key it has all the sizes you need and it's small. The metal is pretty heavy duty which is nice.

This works okay but the action wrench is larger than it should be and the metal seems pretty soft so I will probably wear faster than it should. It would be a lot easier to use if the wrench end was longer. Because of the cross piece you can’t adjust very much and is hard to maneuver. But I do like that is small and can be easily taken to adjust at the rink
