I've used these types of outlets in my other house. They're a must-have! They automatically turn on when it's darker and off when it's light. You take the light for granted, having light in the halls or darker areas in the evening hours. The connections are solid and they're tamper resistant which is code in my area. They are a GREAT deal compared to the big box stores where they charge $20+ for a single outlet! At the time of my review, a 5-pack of these outlets is $25, an excellent value! The clincher is that they're running at 1 cent per month! Upgrade your house, toss those old nightlights and install some of these outlets!

I recently purchased a pack of 15-amp wall outlets from SURAIELEC, and they have been a fantastic upgrade to my home. These outlets feature a built-in LED light, which provides just the right amount of illumination for my hallway and bedrooms, acting as a subtle nightlight. The 3-prong design works perfectly for all my plug-in needs, and the outlets are well-made and easy to install. The added lighting is a great touch for extra visibility at night without being too bright. Highly recommend for anyone looking to add functionality and convenience to their home!

There are small built-in LED lights (0.2Watts) that operate off of a sensor for Dusk to Dawn service that really sets these outlets apart from the rest and it’s an awesome feature!They are built tough with the latest in ETL quality standards and are Tamper Resistant too, so SAFETY is uncompromising in every detail.These are perfect to install in key locations for night lighting safety throughout the home such as the hallway, steps, bathroom, bedroom and kitchen as some examples because these wouldn’t necessarily be needed at every outlet.At a 15 Amp rating, they are more than enough for most household needs.Included are the Screwless matching plate covers and Instructions with more details.Excellent Quality and Value!

I installed these outlets today, and the first thing I noticed was how bright the night light is. It's definitely a cool white, almost bluish light, which is good for visibility, but might be a bit too intense for some people, especially in a bedroom. The installation was standard, and the tamper-resistant feature is good. The screwless wall plate is a nice touch. The light is bright, and some may want a softer, warmer glow. Overall, good, you just need to be aware that it IS bright.

I wish it were a little brighter (see accompanying photo with it installed vs. ad). The receptical seems of high quality (although there is no claim of it being UL tested) as shown in the pics I am including here, and the screw-less front panel gives a smooth look.

My wife and I never agree on how many nightlights to put around the house (or where they should go). I'd rather go with fewer... they're always getting bumped by a dog or a vacuum, or they're too bright at night.I decided to give these outlets a try with their built-in nightlight. The amount of light is just right (for me!); it's not going to ruin my night vision, but it illuminates downward, washing the wall below and a bit of the floor with a soft, white light. I also like that it has a photosensor on it, so the LEDs aren't going to be on all the time; that would make them burn out in just 2-3 years, typically. This way they should last a good bit longer.These outlets have the tamper-resistant shutters as now required by code and they're marked TR accordingly. Easy install and looks great.
