I like GoPro doors that allow you to run a charge cable into the camera from an existing power device. And there are a lot of power pack handles, attachments, etc. available for that very purpose.Door went on with little effort. Almost felt a little too loose but did connect securely. The cable connection was very secure and unlike other doors with a charge opening, this one stuck out a little bit to protect the cable from getting bumped and bent. This does mean that I cannot connect the door before I put my GoPro in an aluminum cage but I could easily connect the door on the camera in the frame.Water resistant but not waterproof. Might protect from a minor splash or rain since the cord protection sticks out a bit. (Of course you have to think about the other end of your cord as well :-)The rubber stopper over the connection was nice and thick but there was no cord to attach it to the door (though there were holes for a cord). A small loop of cord would have been great.

The original lid on my GoPro 12 has to be opened or removed in order to charge, but this new lid allows me to charge it without having to take it off, and you can hook the cable into the little slot on so the cable has no chance of slipping out.My reason to order it was more along the lines of plugging an audio cable into its USB-C port without having to leave the lid off, that cable plugs into the receiver for my wireless microphone so I can record much better audio without so much ambient noise. Worked great.Low cost and simple way to make my GoPro 12 more versatile, I'm leaving this new lid on it permanently.

I have multiple GoPros and I got different brands of this door to use. By far this is the better door. It is easy to install and feels very sturdy. I like that the USB-C cable can be tucked into the door.I like doing night photography but I'm always concerned about rain and the humidity. I have the Suptig portable battery pack for the GoPro so I'll be using this with it. Now it is easy to leave the camera outdoors and not worry about the battery dying or it getting wet inside.The one negative is that the cover for the hole where you would plug in the USB-C cable has to be completely removed when you need to insert the cable. I could very well see that cover being lost - even though they included 2 covers. This is a concern.

This Suptig Battery Door Cover is an excellent accessory that perfectly complements my Suptig Battery Charger for GoPro. Specifically, I sought a solution to safeguard the battery, microSD card, and the internal components of my GoPro Hero 12 Black when a USB-C cable is connected.Swapping the original battery door cover with this one was a straightforward process that could be accomplished in a matter of seconds. Interestingly, I found it easier to ‘unlock’ and open this door cover compared to the original one. This is likely due to two factors: (1) this cover features a thinner sponge on the inside, reducing the force exerted by the door against the latch, and (2) the cable holder incorporated into the cover simplifies the process of pushing down on the door to unlock it.The door cover includes a spare rubber foot that can be used to plug the USB port when a cable is not inserted. While this feature is convenient, I can anticipate that it may be prone to dropping and losing the rubber foot. Notably, the opening in the foot and door cover appears to be designed to accommodate a string (or perhaps a tie wrap), allowing the two parts to be securely held together. It seems Suptig is aware of this possible issue and is providing a potential solution.Although I haven’t conducted a comprehensive underwater test, I did hold the GoPro, door cover, and USB cable under a faucet for approximately 30 seconds. After drying the exterior and opening the door, I did not notice any moisture inside the camera.I also appreciate the cable holder molded into the door, as it provides some strain relief and prevents accidental unplugging of a USB cable.Overall, I am thoroughly satisfied with this battery door cover.

I have a GoPro Hero 10 that I have had sitting in the Media Mod for a long time now, and I wanted to sell the camera but could not find the battery side door I had taken off years ago. So I decided to order this door replacement for my camera. It fits great, and actually adds more functionality to my camera, as I now have a place to hand a cable if need be on the side, as well as now I have remove the camera from the Media Mod and put this battery door on so I can finally sell the camera to a friend. It is made very well and it is solid and fits perfectly. This is a good replacement.

The Suptig Upgraded Battery Door is useful. I use my gopro as a dash cam to video the drive when on adventures. I don't like having the door open to provide power nor having to keep swapping batteries. With this replacement door I can just plug in the charger cord and let the camera run. I like that the door has a slot to hold the cord so it doesn't unplug due to the weight of the cord. The door feels more water resistant than waterproof so I don't plan to use it under water.As others have mentioned the rubber plug that blocks the charging hole isn't attached to the door. I know I'm going to lose it and the spare it came with. There is a spot in the plug to attach a lanyard onto. So I plan to attach some thin cord and tie it on to the Gopro.Overall I find this useful and solves my power issue on long drives.
