The pressed wood, or whatever that was, surrounding the unit was very brittle. I’d go a different direction.

As another reviewer posted it’s a little taller than the original because it has what looks like particle board edging that protrudes above the metal frame a little bit. It fits once you get it in there but that stuff scrapes and breaks as you slide it in. Other than that it seems to do ok so far.BTW - You don’t have to remove the whole oven. If you can slide it out about 2 inches, the screws for the vent cover are on the side and the element installs from the front.

Looks like a direct replacement....same size and materials.....had a very difficult time reinstalling the heating element....it seemed to be taller than the original and when installing the material the element was attached to became broken and the element dislodged from its original position. I finally got the new unit installed with some damage. It works but I would have liked to have gotten it re-installed without the interference issues.
