The thread is not completely. When fully tightened, brake fluid is squeezed out in a stream.

This part was an exact fit in our 07 Acura MDX. It was easy to install, and works great so far. An easy fix for a power steering fluid leak that saved hundreds of dollar in repair costs. Yay!
