Fluorocarbon Line
Polyvinylidene Fluoride Single Filament fishing line has a fast sinking speed with no moisture absorption. Nearly invisible in the water and has slightly less stretch than nylon line. Knot strength: 70% of straight strength.
Nylon Line
Polyamide monofilament fishing line has a sinking speed of 1.14 with a moderate amount of stretch to help absorb shock. Diameter and stretch increase with water absorption. Knot strength: 85% of straight strength.
PE/Braided Line
Ultra high strength polyethylene fiber does not absorb moisture giving it minimal stretch. Most line made with this material either suspends or floats in the water. The strength of this line can be 3-3.5x stronger than nylon line.

Going from only monfilament to 100% flourocarbon I was excited and It's still growing on me. Immediately I noticed the fight the fish gives changes completely, it seems to have less stress but more memory. This line is extremely thin and extremely clear, practically invisible even to me (10lb test). I understand the big difference is sinking/floating lines but flouro also seems to cast smoother so far.

So far so good with this line. Seems exceptionally strong and durable. Time will tell. At this point, I WOULD recommend.

Like "all' Flourocarbons, line-memory is the untamable BEAST; its just a matter of time before you will have to replace your spool of line. But there is a workaround! Braid to flourocarbon! ..12 foot leader is the way to go! MUCH more cost effective this way. That braid will last three years!.

Casts well has good strength and abrasion retains a little bit of memory but I think it’s a little overpriced

Ordered 10lb test, picture was of 12lb, actually received 15lb..
