Using to drain the hot tub every few months. May be excessive, but works really well and gets the job done super quick rather than waiting for it to gravity drain. Quality seems good. Don't forget to completely drain for the winter.

I use this pump for my rain barrel. It takes only less than 10 minutes to empty a 55 gallon barrel. And it runs not much noise.

I ordered this after my pool pump failed the day Hurricane Ian hit. My pool was extremely close to overflowing and, due to the configuration of my home and the eight foot high wall that encloses my property, the house would have flooded next. I actual started to bail the pool out with a 5 gallon bucket and trips out to the street (which didn't make a dent in it) when I remembered I had a very small waterbed pump. That saved the day, but I didn't want to rely on such a small pump again, so I ordered this Prostormer.Thankfully we haven't had another weather emergency, but I did try this just to be familiar with how to set it up and run it along with its capabilities in case of need.This pump was easy to set up and I had it pumping pool water within a few minutes. This pump is more powerful than the waterbed pump I used and it has a significantly greater output. I am confident that in another hurricane situation if I experience another pool pump failure or the pump gets overwhelmed, this Prostormer pump will be able to handle the issue.This pump offers great peace of mind, trying to bail your pool out with a bucket during a hurricane is NOT fun.

I used this pump to pump out the ground water around our fiberglass pool. Out of the box, the first thing you need to do is connect the orange attachment so you can connect a garden hose. I appreciated the attachment being orange because when I put the pump into the tube to pump water, I could actually see how far down the pump was. Also the electric cord is longer so it wasn’t falling into our tube. Our water level was 1/4 up our tube and that normally takes 2.5 hours to pump it out. I was completely impressed when after 1 hour all the water had been pumped out. I had to go and check the end of the hose because this pump is very quiet, I didn't know it was done. I am excited to use it again when our water level is higher. Our old pump would take 8+ hours to pump out all the water but at the rate this pump works, it will cut that job in half!
