This product arrived quickly and was relatively easy to assemble. I do have see issue with the instructions not being as clear as they should be. If you're going to sell a product, spend a couple extra dollars to make sure the instructions are accurate. Maybe hire a test subject to verify that you got it right. I wouldn't think it would cost much, but it's that kind of attention to detail throughout that separates a standard product from a quality one. That said, this still didn't take long to figure out - takes maybe 20 minutes, if you're familiar with this sort of thing. I think it looks fine, and I appreciate the padding to protect the guitars. We have a lot of guitars in the house, of various sorts, which is why we got this. This fit them all easily and well. We do have a lot of animals, tho, so I keep this secluded in my office. Even so, I wasn't entirely comfortable with the design. Instruments in this rack rely on gravity stay in place, and seem like they could be easily dislodged. Just to make sure I didn't bump and create a disaster or that an errant cat getting into my office didnt do the same, and knock our guitars over, I devised a simple stretch band attachment to wrap around the neck of each guitar. Doesn't cost but a couple of dollars to do, and it's not distracting in the slightest. I'm not saying it's necessary, but if your guitars are precious to you, it's not a bad step to consider.

This review is for the STRICH brand Multi Guitar Stand Rack.I have a lot of guitars with a lot of different shapes, and a lot of experience with cheap guitar stands. I wasn’t expecting much when this arrived due to price, but I was surprised when I finished assembly. List of compatible guitar shapes at end of review.THE GOOD:The design is logical and straightforward with no frills or unnecessary extras, but is not unappealing to look at and takes up little floorspace. Assembly took maybe ten or fifteen minutes using a regular old screwdriver (be sure you have the pieces correctly oriented! The pictures in the instructions aren’t very clear, especially in the first step) and involved nothing more strenuous than using a screwdriver to put screws into pre drilled holes. If you’ve assembled simple furniture before, this is easier. The guitar stand, once assembled, is quite stable, and the majority of contact areas are padded. It also seems to fit a wide variety of guitar shapes fairly well. The rubber parts keep the guitar bodies from shifting and sliding around like they might against bare wood.THE NEUTRAL:This guitar stand seems to be designed to be as simple as possible, with the exception of its collapsibility which is just a gimmick; it isn’t nearly as useful a feature as it might sound unless you’re moving this thing between buildings multiple times a week.THE BAD:THIS STAND IS NOT A SAFE OR SECURE WAY TO DISPLAY YOUR GUITARS. The design of the board with the slots you lean the guitar necks in means the slots are shallow and your guitars can get knocked out of the rack easily. This is a big design issue that could be easily solved with the addition of slightly deeper neck slots. In fact, if you’re capable of using a jigsaw, I would suggest removing this piece of the stand entirely and making a new one with deeper neck slots; so long as you take measurements it should be a very simple job.Additionally, there is nothing holding the guitar bodies in place but friction. It works, but it could be better.---Overall, this does its job but I wouldn’t put my expensive guitars on it, or leave guitars on it in a house with pets or small children. Even stubbing your toe on it is enough to knock guitars loose.---------COMPATIBLE GUITAR SHAPESAny symmetrical guitar should fit just fine. These include:Stratocaster (and any other symmetrical Strat-style guitar such as offerings from Jackson, Dean, etc)TelecasterLes PaulSGPRS guitarsany Double Cut type guitar with a symmetrical bottom (Double Cut Les Paul, Ibanez AX series, etc.)BC Rich Mockingbird (strangely enough)Precision Bass‘standard’ acoustic guitarsSymmetrical ES-355 semi-hollow type guitars must be placed carefully due to body width, but will fit.INCOMPATIBLE GUITAR SHAPESOffset guitars don’t fit well; the more offset, the worse they sit.JazzmasterJaguarJazz Bass‘Extreme’ type guitars won’t fit securely at all, but this should be expected.ExplorerFlying VAny of the metal-oriented Dean, Ibanez, BC Rich, etc designs without rounded, symmetrical bottoms. If it doesn’t have a symmetrical, rounded bottom, it won’t sit correctly and is at greater danger of falling out of the stand.

1. STRICH Multi Guitar Stand Rack (to be assembled) (ST207-N as per label);2. Hardware for assembly; and,3. Instructions. When I laid out the wooden pieces and examined them, I noticed a few things:1. There was a 5/8” chip out of an edge on Part A (the piece with STRICH printed on it);2. There are some white marks at various places; and,3. There are two gouge marks on Part E.I had a bit of a struggle with Assembly Step 6 because I tightened the bolts when I did Steps 4 and 5. That resulted in me not being able to align two screws (N) at one end of Part F. See photo showing how far the 2 screws are from the holes. You have to leave the bolts loose and tighten them AFTER Part F is installed.I also had to drill two screw holes a bit deeper into Part B because I could not get them all the way in, no matter how much force I put on my screwdriver. I have included a photo showing the gap. Once I drilled the holes a bit deeper, the screws went all the way and there was no gap.4 acoustic guitars can be placed on the stand, or 6 thin body electric guitars. I have included a few photos of various combinations of some of my guitars. The stand is stable, and the guitars lean at a good angle which prevents them from easily falling out. The padding and the rubber are adequate to protect the guitars.I give this STRICH Multi Guitar Stand Rack 3.6-Stars rounded to 4 because 3.6 is not a selection choice. It would be nice if Amazon allowed for decimals to be selected. I believe that would give more accurate data over the long term. The deduction of 1.4 is because of: the chip out of the wood; the white marks; the gouges; and the two holes that had to be drilled a bit deeper. If I have any problems, I will update this review.
